Can not recommend.

Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Replace carpet, do something with smell in bathroom.
Location: Handy to the interstate and close to the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter, which we were visiting.
Accidently booked smoking and called to change. When I got there it was not changed and no other options available. Also the bathrooms were really small and smelled like mildew. The carpet was dirty and turned the bottoms of our feet black and just felt gross. The staff was friendly but the hotel needs a complete update. The pool was ok.

Broken shower curtain, terrible cleaners, keys frequently won't work, our nonsmoking room smelled like smoke, air conditioning was weak at best, pool was not nearly as clean or attractive in person as in photos, the list goes on. The staff were good.

Hotel in a quiet area.

Posted 11-Aug-2016
Unfortunately the room they gave us had some issues. We couldn't charge our phones, the hair dryer didn't work, oder in the room. My husband went to the front desk and told the manager. The following day we had a new room where everything worked. The staff was kind, answered any questions we had. The breakfast area is small, crowded. Need more variety. The day after we arrived the pool was closed because a latch needed to be fixed on the entrance fence. The kids were disappointed. We went to a nearby family aquatic center and it was nice. We left the hotel and the latch was still not fixed. We were there three nights.

Not bad for the price.

The mattress was a little lumpy. Needs to be upgraded. Some of the furniture was showing age. Looks like new carpets.Room was clean. Would have been nice to have some meat on breakfast bar.

Ant Problem

Posted 7-Aug-2016
One of the two rooms we were staying in had ants coming in from outside. They were crawling up the table onto the cofee pot and tray. I asked to be moved to another room but they didn't have one. The desk manager came up and sprayed with bug spray. I can't emphasize enough how great the staff was, it was just nasty to have ants crawling around.

Nice room, 2nd floor by poolside

Posted 2-Aug-2016
Pros: The pool side room we had
Cons: Check all areas of bathroom when housekeeping is cleaning the room not just sink, toilet and tub.
Location: Was 15 minutes from The Creation Museum and 35 minutes from the Ark Encounter, plenty of restaurants within walking and quick driving distance
The room was moderately clean, there was cob webs in the bathroom, the small vent in the bathroom up top by ceiling had some type of black grease or something on it and the toilet was flushed once and then would not flush correctly for long time, water fill up in tank was super super slow, but other than that is was decent. Staff was friendly and courteous, just wish that they had maintenance on duty longer so that my toilet could have been fixed properly. Over all it was good, could have been better but the price was right and I slept good.

Nice Place for an Overnight Stay

Posted 2-Aug-2016
Pros: Bed, price, AC
Cons: Add eggs (even if hardboiled) and sausage to menu for protein.
My wife and I stayed here Saturday July 30. We needed a place to stay and this place fit the bill. The motel was very busy with lots of families. Many people using the pool and seemed to be enjoying it. We had a room with one king size bed. The bathroom was on the small size but fit our needs. Larger people may have difficulty getting dressed in the bathroom. Loved the large counter top on the chest of drawers. It even had a compartment to put extra luggage. Nice touch. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast included waffles, cereal, fruit, juice and coffee. Was hoping for some eggs and meat but that was not to be. We ate out as the breakfast area was kind of tight for the number of weekend guests. Staff very nice.

Rooms were comfortable. Staff was very essy to with. Central location to multiple attractions. Pool was nice. Bathroom was a little small but otherwise great experience. Accommodated a small youth group well.
