We didn't like that the spa closed at 7pm. We didn't like that it costs extra to use which wasn't clear on the website. I think it outrageous that parking costs extra given the location. We liked the size of the room and having a bathtub. The beds were excellent and it was quiet. We gave the restaurant a miss after finding out that a wedding was taking place in that space. We were not made aware of that when we arrived.

Stay was fine. Bed wasn’t very comfortable to bed be very honest lead to having uneasy broken sleep because wasn’t comfortable. Breakfast on the day, was £18/£19 pound I beleive, but was an average breakfast and was not worth that price. Otherwise stay was fine. Stay were friendly.

Lovely modern hotel. Staff extremely helpful. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.

I didn’t like the fact that I was staying in the hotel and I had to pay for parking. In my opinion, parking should be free when you are paying for a stay. Secondly, the breakfast options were are very limited.

Shame about the parking.
Nice hotel, but limited food in restaurant although food was nice. Clean hotel, friendly staff. Pity no free parking for hotel users.

Friendly & clean
We met up with family to exchange Christmas presents & catch up. The lounge was an excellent area for our 11 adults and 2 young children where we could enjoy our time without being disturbed. Staff were friendly & helpful and the hotel was clean and well-appointed. Our only problems were that our bed had one of those mattresses where the whole bed shakes if one person moves slightly, and the doors on neighbouring rooms seemed to be continually slamming at least until midnight. As a result, neither of us got much sleep.

Beautiful on the outside. Dreadful on the inside
While the outside and the main foyer was absolutely beautiful and stunning. Id give it a 10/10 however the rooms were disappointing. Seemed a little run down. And the bed was awful felt like we were sleeping on concrete and it constantly creeked at the smallest of movement

Cough Reception 👎
Receptionist “Dora” had a coughing fit in front of me, I gave her some time to go have some water but she continued to cough in front of me, including all over my credit card. At the end when I asked politely if I could anti bac my card, she looked shocked and tried to tell me it was “allergies” I reminded her of the worry of covid and she swiped my card and proceeded to go wipe my card whilst making comments to a colleague. I thanked her but it left me feeling annoyed and frustrated. The rest of the stay was excellent.

Bed was rock solid, compared to the usual soft beds you normally find here. It creaked at every movement, meaning it was a stressful, incomplete night's sleep. We did get a courtesy call to make sure the room was ok...1 minute after we entered the room! They now charge for parking, £6 for one night. A poor show from a hotel that I have stayed at 3 times previously and had a fantastic experience with. Now I will be considering elsewhere for my next visit.
