Lovely setting
The view of Mont St Michel was worth the trip. Sitting in the dining room you can look across the mud flats to see the monestery in the mist with the changing light. Beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at this delightful hotel. It is located in the beautiful French countryside with a view of Mt. St. Michel. The gentleman that hosted us and served us dinner was exemplary. Strongly recommend

Quick check out, nice property with a view to Mt St. Michel. Room is small but ok. Staff is friendly. No elevator as this is an old house which was expected.

Second time staying here. It is very peaceful and pretty. Close to Mt St Michel, but away from any hustle. Staff is very nice, and dinning is wonderful.

Amazing location and very quiet
Amazing location and very quiet. We could see Mont St Michel from the terrace of our room, the hotel was in an idyllic setting amongst the lanes, so it felt really peaceful. Beautiful gardens. We were there in very hot weather, so we used the air conditioning unit in our luxury room, which wasn't in the older part of the hotel. The rooms in the main hotel didn't have aircon, but you could keep the window open and it was cooler in there. The staff were all very helpful and gave us a carafe of water and ice bucket for our room (which didn't have a fridge just tea and coffee). Help yourself breakfast is available at an extra charge of €17 pp in a separate room with great views and a wide range of items including fresh bread, pastries, coffee, bacon, scrambled egg, sausage and cold meats/cheese/yoghurt. We did eat in the restaurant the first night as we were all tired. We had had a really good meal the night before so it had a lot to compete with and did come up a little short. I did enjoy the flavours in my chicken dish with an apple and cider sauce, but it was a little cold for my taste. There was a good menu though with lots of different price options including a lobster option if you fancied a treat. My husband went for a €43 set menu with 3 courses plus cheese. The crepe suzette was a little disappointing as it hadn't been cooked in the pan with the oranges and the flambé was put on top afterwards. Overall a good trip if a little expensive.

The staff were very nice, the food in the restaurant was really good, and the room and bathroom were clean. It took me a minute to figure out how to block out the early morning sunlight but I eventually did. The room was on the top floor (not ideal) but it was very quiet. I would stay there again.

This hotel was built in the 1800s. The stairs are narrow, the floors creek and it’s everything you would want in a traditional French country hotel. The rooms are small but well appointed. The towels could have been a little softer and larger, but overall we would stay again. We had dinner here while enjoying the view of Mont Sainte Michel at sunset and the food was spectacular. Practice seemed a little overpriced for the items available, but overall we enjoyed this hotel and would stay again.

On arrival they did not have our booking, and also due to the fact that the person on duty spoke NO English was a little off-putting. We had our reservation confirmation and number, so fortunately we were given a room. The actual hotel and surrounds are absolutely stunning with so much nature and historical information on your doorstep .The dinner was not exceptional in any manner and neither was the breakfast selection. The most disarming factor is the lack of communication skills at the front desk. This is your first impression!

The view of Mont St Michel from the hotel across the fields and the bay is beautiful and worth the stay. The room had been updated but not in particularly good taste. Cheaply done. Seemed short staffed for dinner as well.

Lovely strikingly French manor in beautiful country setting with a fantastic view of Mont St Michel. The room was a little small but otherwise this place was wonderful. Out of the way to a town for dinner so plan ahead.

this is a wonderful, comfy, warm place to stay at while visiting Mount Saint Michel. It is located a couple of miles from the main parking-hotel area, with a wonderful view of the Abbey. Food is excellent and the personnel is really nice

Beautiful setting - room was somewhat a let down
The Manoir is beautiful from outsidere and in a magnificent setting. The room and bathroom we had was marked by time. If the owners have the time and economical space to refurbish the rooms and bathrooms in particular, they could lift the experience several levels. We did not lunch/dine there but it looked inviting. All staff were pleasant helpful and courteous. We found the price somewhat steep in price/quality ratio - but again such is very subjective.

A True Country Inn
Very small room and ants were in the bathroom. They did not give us another room but instead a bottle of insect spray. We were on an upper floor. Hotel is in true countryside and the ants did not bother us. Staff was very friendly and helpful and restaurant was quite good. Very attractive setting

Peace and tranquility close to Mont St Muchel
We had a very pleasant 2 night stay at Relais de Silence. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated but not worth the extra money. We had delightful meals in the evening (although the waiter on the second evening had a problem with his personal hygiene). I wouldn't pay 15 euros for the breakfast. The receptionist during the day was delightful and very helpful.

Pleasant country style accommodation
D Day activities caused us to accept this accommodation. However, it turned out to be a surprisingly pleasant experience. It was quiet and the property had a lot of character. We dined there, extra charge, but the meal was excellent and the views to Mont Saint Michel were captivating.

The hotel looked great in the pictures. Actually it is very shabby, bed covers look like they are 10 years old, pillows are flat and clumpy. To get to our room we had to climb up 2 flights of narrow stairs with our bags. Good thing about it.. It was clean.

Hidden Jewel in Normandie
We had a hard time finding this location even with Garmin. Alot of small back roads that look more like private drives than public roadways. But when we finally found it...Amazing is all we could say. Very beautiful grounds, very private far away from tour buses and the like. Mount St Michel, beautiful, omni-present, sits silently off in the distance. Very quiet very homey.

You just couldn't pay me enough to stay here again!
Over-rated doesn't begin to describe this moldy old stable. Pulling into the drive the place looked charming enough, but when we got to our room reality set in. This place is not shabby-chic, it's just SHABBY! The breakfast was robbery at best. Within minutes of some of the finest cheese in the world we had supermarket deli slices. Seriously, this was by far the worst hotel on our vacation!

We stayed one night with our pet. The area around the hotel is very quiet, and there are places where you can hike, so I had a great time in nature. The dinner was also very delicious. Everything is perfect.

Hotel confortável com excelente custo benefício. Vista espetacular para o Mont Sant Michel. Passamos uma noite após passeio no Mont Sant Michel, e antes de explorar a Normandia. Café da manhã gostoso e restaurante com opções bem gostosas para jantar.
