Staff makes you feel right at home. Really unique special hotel that really embodies the spirit of the San Juan Islands. Beds are comfy, rooms are quiet and at night it’s relaxing to sit by the fire in the lobby with a glass of wine.

I arrived to find that the restaurant, a main draw of the property, was not open on this day, news to me. The “bar snacks” consisted of one remaining charcuterie board at 4 pm. We were advised to return to town if we wanted food. The “craft your own cocktail” special advertised that evening was translated by the bartender to mean “tell me what you want, and I’ll make it.” This is literally the definition of every bar on the planet. Lame.
