Check-in and check out was quick. Hotel staff were great! It was nice the hotel has an airport shuttle.
I only stayed for one night so didn't get a chance to walk around the hotel. But the room is adequate and comfortable.
Loved the look and feel of the place. The driveway and lobby had a nice classy feel to it. Purple is my favorite color, so this place was perfect for me. Only stayed one night, so I didn't get to check out everything, but I would definitely go back. Also, the staff were very nice and helpful. Shout out to Zach, who took care of a little situation that I had! I go the room for what I thought was decent for what I paid for. Not disappointed at all with it.
I came to Orange County for a business trip, and this hotel was recommended to me by a colleague. It's a lovely facility right next door to a large mall, lots of dining options, and a lively arts venue.
Parking is in an adjacent structure, but there is a valet service which makes parking your car a snap. The rooms are immaculate and super comfortable! I found the hotel to be remarkably quiet even though there were a lot of people on site during my visit.
My only (slightly nitpicky) complaints? The price of food and beverages on site....it was a bit inflated in my opinion, given the number of dining options within walking distance of the hotel. Also, it drives me nuts when large chain hotels continue to charge you for Internet access! Luckily I was able to use my cell phone as a personal hotspot in my room, but it's just inexcusable in my opinion to continue to consider Internet as a premium item....just include it isn't the price!
I was looking for a one night stay in Costa Mesa CA, medium priced, safe area, and a Best western looked good. To my surprise, the hotel was more than I expected, clean, lovely lobby, and friendly personnel. little touches, like cookies at the check-in-counter, apples, water, granola bars in the room, coffeemaker ready in the room, and plenty of lotions and hair care products. Yes - nice job - Best Western.
Did I tell you that I was in Costa Mesa for the funeral of a dear friend, so to have a pleasant experience in your facility made it all a bit better. Thank you.
The staff was pleasant. The grounds were very pretty and well taken care of. Lots of trees which was a pleasant surprise. It's on a Main Street, but it was surprisingly quiet. The room was clean and quite spacious. Very comfortable bed. It was a non-smoking room, but had a mild odor of smoke. Ones sensitivity to smoke would determine how offensive it was. I am a non-smoker, and I was used to it in just a couple of minutes. Also, if one is particular, the furniture is outdated, but frankly, that doesn't impact safety, cleanliness, or quietness. My most favorite thing... the a/c. It had a setting to run all night at the temperature I wanted. There was an auto setting, too, but I didn't want it shutting off and turning on all night. And it wasn't just the fan setting. It had Auto, High, Medium, Low, and Fan. I set it on high, and it was wonderful! the perfect white noise to drown out running water pipes, car doors, car alarms, room doors, etc. I highly recommend this Super 8!
