Great Sea Views!
We booked this as a last minute stay on Christmas, particularly for the rooftop terrace & indoor jacuzzi. We were surprised to learn that you had to may €12,50 to access it, but in the end we paid & it was very nice. You get the spa for an hour & there is a sauna, steam room & gym, and it’s totally private. The facilities could have been much cleaner & it would be great to have a hair dryer in the bathroom. The room itself was great & we even had a sea view from our balcony. Overall, we enjoyed & the staff was very kind!

4 day break in lovely Loret de mar.
We arrived in the evening and were greeted by a friendly man on reception who checked us in quickly. Subsequent days we found the reception staff to be friendly and helpful. We had a room with sea views which was clean. The mattresses were on the firm side but we slept well. We recommend the bar and resturant for it's friendly staff and delicious food which was reasonably priced. We will be visiting this hotel again.

Booked 2 double rooms, reveived a double and triple. Triple dissapointing extremely small bathroom with a very small showe and looked onto side of building looking onto a wall. The foublr was more pleadant in position and size

The closeness to the beach and bars. View from the front balcony’s is fantastic. Could do with welcoming book with where and what is about.

Know What You are Getting Into
Just know what you are getting into. First, regarding Lloret de Mar, I'm glad I chose it since the hike is beautiful, and the water is nice. However, just be aware that the water will be cold if you go in May as will the temperature. I kind of wish I planned my stay for later in the summer. Also, the beautiful photo of the "castle," yes, you will see that right from the hotel's beach, and the hike is amazing. However, be aware that the beach front hotels remind me of Hollywood Beach, Florida though--dated 60's era construction, dingy, and worn. Regarding URH itself, likewise, it's a bit dated inside. The blanket is old. The beds are a little creaky. I chose the hotel in part for several things that were misleading. 1st, I'll be in Europe for 49 days & wanted laundry. As it turns out the laundry is someplace offsite where you have to walk. 2nd, I wanted to relax in the jacuzzi tub. You have to pay extra, & it's lukewarm. 3rd, I chose partial ocean view--just don't. It's a view of a wall in a dark room. If you step onto the *barely* balcony, you can crane your neck to see the ocean. Fortunately, since it was the low season, they let me pay to upgrade. The breakfast was so-so though the outdoor restaurant was great. The staff were really nice and helpful. It was the nicest choice available on the beach on hotels.com. I'm unsure if there is anything nicer in Lloret de Mar. But just know what you are getting into. The price was good.

Clean and plentiful hot water
Clean hotel - Fresh towels daily and plentiful hot water for showers - We had a sea view room which was well worth the extra payment (even though a little on the small side). Very handy position within walking distance to all our requirements. Bus stops close by and thoroughly enjoyed our stay here - Hope to go back soon.

The situation is excellent, over the boulevard on the beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Even though the property is quiet, if any one comes late at night and talk on the hall, you wil feel like an intruder entered your room. That will be the main complaint I will point out; other than that, it is the typical 3 stars beach hotel.

Great upscale feeling Hotel in Salou
The hotel is in a great location, partial beach view from our decent size balcony. Very clean, large modern room. Large bathroom & shower area. Short walk to the beaches, restaurants & everything else. Quiet neighborhood. Front desk very friendly. The breakfast room very comfortable with lots of selections from cereals, eggs,fruit, cheeses, great breads & sweets. It was a random choice for us but after walking around we felt it was the best choice for us. Yea street parking was free in June.

Great view from our ocean view room. Balcony very small but still gave a sense of an out door space. The room was plenty big for the 2 of us, very clean with a nice bathroom and shower. Great location, easy to walk every where, hiked to the Jardines & Platja Fenal, beautiful beaches. The lady’s at the front desk were very fun, friendly & helpfull. Parking is tricky you just have to play the feed the meter game. Had a great visit & would stay there again.

Nice hotel close to beach
Though room small ,had everything you needed and clean. Good walk in shower. Ideal room for 4 nights .Roof terrace was being refurbished so did not get to use facilities up there. Wouldn't recommend for longer stay as space in room very minimal.

Nice hotel opposite beach
Great location, beach side view from our room. Booked a triple room but was given 1 double bed and 1 single bed despite contacting the hotel in advance confirming We will need all3 beds made up. There was only towels for 2 people which clearly shows that this room was not for 3 separate adults. Apparently they have changed and only give rooms with 3 beds to groups of 4. They brought us up an extra bed. The room was so small you couldn't open or shut the door properly. This room would not of passed any fire inspection. Bathroom was tiny. We did walk past other rooms while they were being made up and they were much larger. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. Not a lot of hot choice but plenty of bread meat yogurts and cake. Perfect location. Great hotel is travelling as a small family or couple

Best spot to stay in town.
Excellent location. A front room, with a panoramic sea view, was well worth the extra money. The room wasn't big and could have done with redecoration, but it was clean comfortable. Limited staff contact was friendly and professional. Would stay again.

I love the room on the 6 floor with view to the malecon and the sea . they give u to free drinks and discount parking at the Casino in case u dont find free parking .

Cheap hotel on the beach
This hotel was good for what we needed. It was cheap and close to the beach, the quality matches the price. The room was clean and simple. The only complaint is that the wifi was terrible.

very friendly and helpful staff and the room was meticously cleaned every day There was a good quality breafast every day and the outside terrace restaurant served a respectable midday menu.The inside restaurant was opened in the evening.A room safe is available at a charge.The sound insulation in the walls is not good and so i expect in the summer months it may be noisy Parking can be an expensive issue.

Not a adults only hotel as advertised
Location was perfect right across from the beach, room rate was very good, check in was a breeze, hotel is clean, rooms were clean and modern, more like a premier inn style than a holiday apt,(which was good)walls were paper thin, and the beds were really uncomfortable which was a shame as the room was really nice. Even after a few beers i was waking up every time our neighbours went to the toilet, neighbours bathroom seem to back onto our bedroom wall, room 33 that is !! Another let down is that the hotel states its a adult only hotel, so it was very amusing to see upon our check-in a couple walk past us in to the lift with a new born, then the next day there were 2 or 3 families in the breakfast room. Not a problem for us but could imagine it bothering others that book the hotel under the illusion its a adult only. Would i stay here again, probably yes as the sleep i lost during the night , i made up for on the beach !!

Fantastic short break
Few pickpockets about but that's nothing unusual all around Spain, no restaurant for nighttime meals which was a small shame if your tired and don't want to go out although there is plenty very near both left and right of the hotel

Looret hotel
Basically, it is a very small hotel; however, some rooms seem to be larger than others. Guests were very noisy, and complaining to the front desk did not resolve the issue. Breakfast, is continental (no hot food) but it is all you can eat with good Italian coffee. The mattress was in extreme poor condition, the metal springs were poking at me not matter what part of the mattress you use, I think they served their purpose and needs to be replaced.

can't wait to go back
my wife and i stayed for 4 nights at the end of june and were very pleased with the hotel,there was a bit of a language barrier. when we asked for tea and coffee and face cloths for our room we were sent a kettle and two bath towels. we were glad we did'nt book breakfast because it was very basic.we enjoyed our stay,it was central on the seafront and very clean and confortable.

Good location
Best Western Hotel Excelsior is located right off the beach. I picked the hotel because its location and it turned out to be a good choice. The hotel offers basic service and we did not want the breakfast, because there are plenty of restaurants in the areas.

hotel right on the front in the old quarter of lloret, would not like to stay in the new part, like Blackpool (england) on speed Loads of british yobs ! Old part traditional Spanish. Hotel moden but balconies small and walls very thin. room spotless and staff excellent.
