3rd Generation of family running hotel, have great attentive staff hotel a little shabby chic but that made it a bit more romantic. Room overlooking sea a must, as is a trip down to the shale beach. Food Ok, served with panache. Close enough to fly in for a long weekend.

Old World Elegance with every modern comfort imaginable. We were so impressed by the beauty of the hotel, the excellent restaurant for dinner and an amazing breakfast on the terrace looking out on the beautiful gardens and Mediterranean! Having a cocktail by the pool before walking the grounds was a great way to cool off. The ELEVATOR TO THE BEACH- AMAZING!!

Beautiful coastal Hotel with private beach
My wife and I were there for a wedding and our stay was unforgettable. The staff was amazingly highly attentive and welcoming (better than Four Seasons or Ritz). The hotel is self sustaining from an environmental perspective and has great roots to the area. No superfluous luxuries but a great value. Can't wait to go back!

Great hotel & staff in superb location.
A lovely hotel with superb views, in extensive grounds. Very comfortable throughout. Food is first class and reasonable price. Owners and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful.

Old world charm!
This is a beautiful property situated on a gorgeous coastline. The common areas of the hotel are inviting and decorated with antiques. The dining areas are beautiful inside and outside. The staff was very attentive.

Had a very good stay at this facility. Excellent food in the restaurant. View is beautiful. Some of the parts of the hotel are aging and starting to look dated. Overall though the rooms were well maintained and clean. Definately take the elevator to the beach. It is well worth the excursion.

Majestic and Personable
Beautiful hotel and location. Loved the private beach which is accessed via a short walk and 2 minute elevator ride down the hillside! Restaurant at beach level for lunch added to the whole experience. Staff at hotel were very professional while also friendly and helpful. For example when we arrived we were not allowed to carry our own bags to the room, they helped us with off site restaurant reservations and directions, and also directions for one of our day trips off in the rental car. Recommend having a rental car to tour the surrounding area. Only negative experience was noise from large wedding party that went into the early hours of the morning and being on the main road the traffic noise can be quite loud.

Traumhafte Lage des Hotels
Wir haben die traumhafte Lage des Hotels mit einzigartigem Panoramablick und auf 44 ha herrlichster Natur des Südens sowie die sehr gute Küche und das freundliche Personal sehr genossen. Man wird verwöhnt und ist stets um Ihr Wohl bemüht. Die vielen Stammgäste beweisen dies.

In pochi luoghi al mondo esiste un hotel con una posizione così bella. Proprietari accoglienti. Tornerei sul Tirreno solo per visitare l'albergo San Michele. Mi permetto di consigliare migliorie dell'ascensore che conduce gli ospiti dell'albergo alla spiaggia. È totalmente safety ma un po' ansiogeno

Nel complesso bene. Purtroppo la prima camera al 4° piano assegnata nel corpo dell'edificio vista mare anche se non grande era ben arredata e pulita. Purtroppo il cattivo odore delle cucine sottostanti ci costringono a cambiare con altra a piano terra lato sud bella ma con problemi di ricezione tv, arredo di scarso qualità e supporto doccia bagno rotta. Personale disponibile e cordiale. La spiaggia è ricavata nella roccia e raggiungibile a oiddi e con un ascensore. Per chi ha problemi motori e difficolta a camminare e praticamente impossibile da utilizzare.

Das Hotel ist sehr schön, die Lage ist in der Hinsicht auch sehr gut, allerdings kann man nicht viel vom Hotel aus erreichen. Ohne Mietwagen macht es wenig Sinn, außer man möchte wirklich nur am Strand vom Hotel sein. Das Essen ist ok, man wird sicherlich mehr erwarten, aber es geht auch schlechter. Ansonsten wurde mein Gepäck nicht hochgetragen, die Organisation des Shuttles war unnötig kompliziert, beim Bedienen wurde ständig das falsche Essen hingestellt und zum Abschluss wurde mir noch erklärt, ich hätte noch nicht bezahlt. Es war tatsächlich notwendig erst meinen Laptop zu holen, die Überweisung zu zeigen, bis die Hotelleitung mir geglaubt hat. Mir wurde erklärt, dass man normalerweise nicht bei Expedia vorher bezahlt und lauter so ein Quatsch. Ich habe nicht verstanden, was das sollte, aber es war der Leitung wohl irgendwie wichtig ^^

Hotel San Michele Cetraro
Cet hôtel est très agréable, que ce soit du point de vue de l'emplacement comme du personnels qui y est très gentil et serviable. La plage de l'hôtel est très belle malgré le peu de sable. Les repas du restaurant sont délicieux de plus qu'ils font tout eux même, l'huile d'olive, tomates, courgettes, le vin ... et ça j'ai apprécié !!! Pour moi l'hôtel San Michele est un hôtel a conseiller .

Nicht nur die Lage allein, sondern auch der exzellente und äusserst aufmerksame Service, die Küche und der nahe Golfplatz haben den Aufenthalt für uns Liebhaber älterer Grand Hotels zum Spitzenerlebnis werden lassen. Einzig die unter dem Hotel verlaufende Strasse war ab und zu hörbar.
