Many of our guests say that they only had to pack their clothes and groceries. Or better yet, use one of our concierge services and have groceries delivered and put away before you even arrive! • You’ll find many little touches for an eco-friendly stay including recycling and many all-natural products. • You help us make a difference in the local community, as with each stay, we donate to support kids entering the local foster care system. • You’ll have access to our whole home with the exception of the storage closets (2 in the lower level and one in the loft bathroom). • There is ample parking for several cars in the driveway. • Check-in is a breeze with digital locks, while your custom door code provides safety. • If you are bringing a pet, this must be included in your booking so that the applicable pet fee is included in your rate. As we're in a rural mountain area, neighborhood dogs have been known to venture onto our property. Please keep your dog leashed or allow them to enjoy the upper deck or the fenced area out back. Please also be courteous and pick-up after your pets. We also provide pet blankets, towels and a vacuum so that you can help protect our cabin. We provide a 42"L x 27"W x 29"H crate and ask that you kindly crate your pet when unattended. • The last mile of the drive to the cabin is a two-way, one-lane road. It is steep and curvy. Locals are great about sharing the road and we ask the same courtesy in return. • We recommend AWD in January and February, as our driveway is also steep and curvy. • There are no refunds for weather. We suggest you consider purchasing travel insurance for possible cancellations. • Per our house rules, you will be required to sign a renter’s agreement at the time of booking where a copy of your ID will be requested. Please be sure your name, photo and birth year are visible. If you would like a copy of the renter’s agreement prior to booking, please ask. We are happy to provide it. • Minimum renter’s age is 25 and ID verification is required. • Also per our house rules, you will be required to schedule a $500 security deposit hold at the time of booking. The hold is processed the day before your check-in and as long as the cabin and property are left in good condition, it is released within 3 days of your check-out. • We understand that accidents happen. As part of your reservation, you will receive accidental damage protection for up to $500 (exclusions apply). We kindly ask that you inform us of any damages in a timely manner so we can start the remediation process. If the damage was caused by negligence, breaking of house rules or it falls under the exclusions, it may be withheld from your security deposit. Again, communication is key. Likewise, should you find anything broken upon arrival, please notify us right away so that we can correct the situation for you. • There is no smoking or vaping in the cabin or screened porch. • It’s BYOC (Bring Your Own Codes), so please bring your log-in and passwords to use the apps on the Smart TV’s. • Guests consistently praise our attention to cleanliness, which is possible by our guests keeping the cabin tidy so our cleaning team can do a thorough clean each time. Our check-out instructions are basic, and we reserve the right to withhold money from the security deposit if you do not complete the requested tasks. We stand behind our cleanliness standards and will promptly address any concerns you have. • For the safety and security of our guests and the neighborhood, there are 4 external security cameras facing outward from the cabin. One on the lower deck facing towards the driveway. One on the corner of the upper deck facing over the driveway. One on the back side of the house facing towards the A-frame. One on the back porch facing over the grill. • Safety is paramount to us! Therefore, we've thought of every detail so that you don't have to worry while on your vacation. You'll find things like flashlights, mini lanterns, first aid kits, fire extinguishers and emergency escape ladder all strategically placed should an emergency arise. During certain times of the year, there is an elevated fire risk in the mountains, and burn bans may be implemented. This location and management by far exceeded the others as far as, professionalism, communication, and amenities/conveniences. This particular location is amazing for families with children of all ages and pets included. They had everything you would possibly need. Even though the cabin is on top of a mountain the drive up was the easiest that we've made due to the paved driveway. The basement provided a safe space for our toddler and our older children enjoyed exploring the property. Attention to detail is obvious throughout the cabin from the Traeger grill to the coffee grinder. All of the beds were extremely comfy and the arrangement of the bedrooms allowed for privacy if needed. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. We enjoyed the privacy of the location. The hot tub is amazing and so relaxing. We had a problem starting the grill, but Vicki was very responsive and helped us figure it out. Its obvious that Vicki not only cares for her properties, but it is also important to her that her guests have a wonderful stay. Super clean cabin, the hot rub was also super clean(we’ve been vacationing in Gatlinburg for 25 years and this was the first hot tub I actually got into), the kitchen had everything we needed as well as sharp knives and decent pots and pans. We were very pleased with everything and Vicki checked in with me multiple times to make sure everything was going well. We also did the grocery service and it was worth every penny. Literally all you need to do is walk in with your clothes and you are set to go. The bath amenities are great quality. The kitchen has everything to cook full meals and the coffee/tea bar was spot on! The fire pit, hot tub, porches and games provided something for everyone. We participated in Vicki's grocery concierge service and that was awesome and took away a little stress from the beginning of the trip! Very quiet location, the beds were comfortable and the home theater provided great entertainment. Let's just say I am certainly glad I was not driving. Amenities galore!!! Not for want of anything. Labeling and QR codes were discretely hung - very classy!. And our Hostess was so attentive before, during and after our stay. Close to Gatlinburg and very comfortable. Extremely comfortable and accommodating. Vicki was a wonderful host, checking up by email a few times during the week to make sure everything was ok. She also thought of just about everything and made sure the cabin is well equipped to make sure most of all your needs are met. Description mentions this cabin is private. And by private it means nearly 4 miles of one car wide paved and unpaved roads. Driving in I thought to myself on several occasions that I was lost and should turn around. It was great to have an EV charger for our Tesla. The cabin was very clean, not a speck of dust in sight. I’ve never been in a rental that’s so organized! In really great shape, Pretty, organize, modern, and clean. The cabin is very private which everyone in my group loved. It’s minutes from gattlinburg. A lot of activities inside the cabin. The boys had a lot of fun playing in the hockey table and board games after dinner. The cabin is very Spacious. Master in huge with separate shower and separate tub. Loft has queen bed with its private bathroom. Basement has a private room with queen bunk beds and also has a private bathroom. Hot tub was really nice and spacious. Main floor has a good half bathroom conveniently located close to the hot tub. Kitchen has everything you need. Had amazing family dinners in this cabin. Overall really enjoyed the cabin, my family fell in love with it. Want to come back again. Host is very attentive and informative which made me feel very comfortable.
