WHAT'S IN A NAME: Putt Putt Shipwrecked takes its name from the private mini golf course exclusive to its guests and its location. Shipwrecked just East of the port of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge you will find this cabin to be a buried treasure inside a tranquil valley with mountain views of Mt. Cammerer and a year round spring fed creek inside the Cherokee National Forest. AMAZING LOCATION: NO STEEP HILLS, FLAT ROAD ALL THE WAY TO THE CABIN. Year round the traffic into Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is the lightest from the East. I personally drive these route almost every day. 25 minutes to both. 5 minutes to the Cosby GSMNP entrance. OUTDOORS: 6 hole mini golf course 24 foot Pirate Play Ship Spring fed creek Mountain Views from the yard 3 level cleared acres ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Beds: There are NO pullout sleepers or futons. PARKING: 4-5 vehicles ACCESS: The front door has an electronic lock. You will be provided the door code the day before arrival GETTING THERE: The road is paved all the way cabin. Gravel driveway. No steep roads. Although snow here is rare, in the winter 4wd or AWD may be necessary. OUTDOOR GRILLE: A large covered park style grille is provided for your use. Bring your own charcoal. Please make sure to put ash inside the provided ash can. TRASH: Outside trash cans are provided. If you fill them just let us know. CRITTERS: There are critters AND bears in the area. If you encounter a bear do not feed or try to approach them. CHECK IN/OUT: We do not typically offer late check out or early check in. If by chance we can accommodate, we will. However, late check outs without permission accrue a $50 charge every 30min. Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, charcoal and coffee are NOT provided. STARTER PACK: We provide a starter pack consisting of 4 dishwasher tablets, 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of TP per bathroom, small container of laundry soap and dryer sheets, 2 trash bags, and a sponge and small bottle of dish soap. You may want to bring extra towels for the hot tub. The fireplace is shut down April 1 to October 1\. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: This is a NON SMOKING cabin. If you smoke inside the cabin you will be charged $250, plus the increase in cleaning fee, plus any damages. The hot tub is for guests 18 and over only. No children under the age of 18 permitted at anytime without adult supervision. Alcohol is not allowed near the hot tub. You are not allowed to use the hot tub if you have consumed alcohol or you are pregnant. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! Pets are NOT allowed. If you sneak in a pet of any kind you will be charged an additional $250 and you will be asked to leave. Maximum Permitted Occupancy is 10\. Exceeding the maximum permitted occupancy will result in a fine by both local authorities and a $250 fine by the host. You will also be asked to leave. Absolutely NO fires! This includes starting one outside and inside. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $150, plus damages. No sidewalk chalk allowed. The use of sidewalk chalk anywhere on the property will result in a $150 excess cleaning fee plus the cost of any repairs. We do NOT offer refunds for weather or natural disasters. Do NOT lean or hang on the railings. Owner/Host is NOT responsible for accidents or injuries. Use of outdoor play equipment is at your own risk.. For the first time ever, everyone had their own beds! We were a constant buzz of activity--kids in the creek, kids playing minigolf, kids playing the arcade machine, eating ice cream on the porch, hot tub, reading on a swing, playing pirates. We had SO much fun, and we are so grateful for this magical getaway. This was our longest trip away, yet, and it was the most fun! We have told so many people about this wonderful trip. The putt putt course was a hit for all of us. It was further out than we anticipated but still worth the drive, very quiet neighborhood. The owner was very responsive when needed. Our family had an amazing time at this cabin. Kids enjoy the pirate ship playground and whole family got to enjoyed some putt putt time together. Very quiet location. The pirate ship playground, putt-Putt, arcade game, and Creek in the back kept our children engaged allowing the parents to relax and enjoy the multiple porches with beautiful views. The cabin was very clean and the host was accommodating. The beds were comfortable and the pirate bunk room was a perfect place for the kids to have their own space. It was off the beaten path which was nice when so many surrounding areas are so crowded and high-traffic places. We really enjoyed all of the "extras" like the putt putt, pirate ship playground, and hot tub. We used all of these several times a day. The porches were all amazing to relax and enjoy some reading or sit and talk to family. We made trips to Pigeon Forge and Sevierville (both took about 30-35 minutes from the house taking back roads), and were able to shop and eat while we were out. When I wasnt sure how to work something, I contacted the property owner, and he was friendly and very quick to respond and help me fix the problem. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere to relax and spend lots of time with family and friends but still be close enough to other places for an occasional outing. ##### Candace L. We were 2 families of 4, with 4 kids ages 7 and under. They all loved the pirate playground and putt putt, as well as the arcade game. The kid bunk room connected to the top king room was adorable, and they loved having their own space that was designed for them. There were even lights and charging stations with USB ports for each bed in the kids bunk room, which was awesome for charging tablets. The closet and bathroom in the bottom room was HUGE. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials to cook for yourself. All the decor and details were perfect. The owner always messaged me almost immediately if I ever reached out to him and was always so helpful and kind. The creek was so peaceful to listen to while sitting out on the balcony and read my book. Cabin was impeccably clean and beautifully appointed with cozy mountain decor. Everything was in working order. The pirate ship and putt putt were perfect for the kids when we needed down time from our Gatlinburg day trips. The location is great being with in 30-45 minutes from all the mountains have to offer. Sipping our morning coffee on the back porch in front of the creek was absolutely peaceful as well. Cabin seemed to be newly updated and everything was fresh and clean.
