This warm and welcoming, newly constructed cabin offers peaceful wooded and mountain views, the comforts of home, cozy interiors, and plenty of conveniences. With plenty of room to spread out, this mountain cabin can accommodate up to 4 guests and is ideal for family vacations, two couples, small families with children, getaways with friends or romantic honeymoons. When you’re not having outdoor adventures in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, playing and shopping at The Island, hiking or riding roller coasters at Dollywood, come back to Heavenly Daze to unwind. Begin days at you one level cabin with a cup of coffee in the rocking chairs on the front porch and breakfast made in the fully equipped kitchen. While it was a little further from Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg than we anticipated, it was nice to getaway from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hubs. I did not like that AFTER booking the trip you get a long list of rules from the property manager, which I found to be a bit ridiculous! I understand as a property owner that you need to protect your property from people coming and possibly partying and destroying it. However, this felt like a complete attempt at overcharging and a possible money grab. For example, they want to charge 50 for every 15 minutes that you would check out late after 10 AM. There were no guests allowed, etc. I felt as if I had suddenly signed up to be in some liberal HOA. I would rather stay at a hotel than have such formality. Also as a recommendation to the hosts— don’t mow the grass while the guests are staying at the cabin. We had such a wonderful time at this place! The cabin was so light and clean and spacious. It’s on a farm, with a couple of other cabins scattered around the property, in a beautiful quiet location. We met Dave, the owner, who was very friendly, and invited us to pick some greens and muscadines from his garden. I mostly did business with Anita, his wife? who responded very quickly with any questions. I loved the storage in the kitchen and bathroom - shelves with plenty of room for groceries or toiletries. We always bring a lot of food and sometimes have trouble finding where to put it all, but not here. Everything was so clean and new. And we slept like logs, the beds were great. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins over the years; we love hiking and biking in the Smokies; and this one is right up there with our favorites. We went biking around Cades Cove, and hiking along the Little River in the Elkmont area, and on our way home we stopped at Big Creek for a beautiful hike and picnic lunch. Jul 7, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Great place to relax My wife and I wanted to visit the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, but didn't want to do the whole touristy thing. This place and the area is what we were looking for. Although there is a Super Walmart and many local restaurants within a 20 minute drive, the cabin itself is in a fairly quiet area - not quite in the woods, but close. The cabin itself was basically immaculate. Not really rustic as you might expect from a "cabin": it e even included fast WiFi, with enough signal strength to easily reach the firepit in the back. The firepit was one of our favorite things, where we spent almost every evening with a glass of wine (or two) and listening to the sounds of the birds and other wildlife. Cooking on a charcoal grill was interesting... it's probably been 30 years since the last time I did that. We did try the hot tub one night (when it was raining so we couldn't sit by the firepit). It was on the small side but plenty large enough for two... the one thing about it was that it was fairly loud, which is the only downside we really found to this cabin.
