The village was founded in 1865\. The house was built on stilts by Mr. Ireland in1870 . He sold the house to Grey Fulford in 1931\. Grey moved the house on to land. He married Priscilla Pringle and lived there until 1989. The cottage has original hardwood floors, marble counter tops ,and beautiful views. The cottage has a king bed, pull out couch in the second bedroom , dish washer, built in refrigerator, gas stove, large microwave, grill, table and chairs on the back deck. The bath is spacious with a walk in double shower. There are 2 TVs with internet stations and apple tv. The house is located on a 2.5 acre lot with a 60 foot dock on Sarasota Bay. There is (1) deep water slip and Kayaks (3) available on the premises with (3) fishing rods and beach equipment.. The cottage has plenty of parking for boat trailers It is landscaped with indigenous plants only. The house is wheel chair accessible from a walkway and ramps up through the back door. This is a perfect place to getaway and safely, relax.
