My family and I mostly enjoyed our visit at Hotel de la Place! Great view from our room with balcony and the staff were very friendly, greeting us with a drink from the restaurant. The village is very cute with multiple bus transportations to Vevey. Something to beware of is the church bells right across the street, which (during our stay in oct/nov) rings regularly between 6am and 10pm. However check in was not so easy, as we arrived when the office was closed, so we had to phone a number to get the door code and room number. Parking is free from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am if you are lucky to find one! there is no elevator so it is better to have a room on the lower levels. The room was very small, And I saw two centipedes in the bathroom. There were one shampoo, one hand soap, 4 towels, tea cups, and a kettle in the room. I expected a cleaner room when I was booking.
