Fun stay.

Perfect townhouse walking distance from the beach. Plenty of space for our family. Kitchen well equipped. Plenty of bath towels. Washer and dryer was great to have! Only draw back, it’s 3 levels so lots of stairs. Had some fire ants in some of the rooms, luckily we had bug spray. Other than a few of us getting stung, we had a great time. Recommend, will stay again at 14838.

Definitely would book again.

First time booking a condo instead of the hotel, but my dad requested a place we could be together. Decided to give this a try and was overall very happy with the condo and its location. Our group consisted of 7 people between the ages of 75-12. Everyone was very comfortable. The house rules request no shoes in the home and I tried to comply but the stairs are well used. I had stepped on a nail that was slightly exposed on the steps. Ouch!! Thank goodness we had house shoes with us. Overall the home was perfect and everyone had plenty of space to spread out or gather together. The location of the home was also phenomenal, short walk to the beach and easy to walk back and forth to use the restroom instead of the portable potty. My elderly parents were with us and did find all the stairs a bit challenging. Luckily there is a bottom floor bedroom that allowed them ground access thru the garage. This helped them from having to climb too often. The Balconies were amazing, provided front row views to beach area. Great for sunrise/sunset or coffee time. Lots of seating for all to enjoy. One note, you get a code access to the door. But there are no physical keys/garage door opener available. We called vbro to see if we could have a key. They gave us the code to the lockbox by the door but the key was missing. The garage door also acted up. We would close it and it would pop back open. Happen a few times. Just had to try closing again and it would finally close securely.

Location! Location! Location! Fishing Bachelor party

We had a bachelor party setup for a group of guys that initially involved an overnight camping trip on tuesday/wedensday, followed by a stay at this house on wednesday/thursday. Mother nature forced us to cancel our overnight fishing trip, so I promptly called and booked an extra night at the house for the day BEFORE our initial arrival. The home was available, and adding a night to the booking was quick and painless. Upon arrival, first impressions were good - the unit we stayed in was the last one on the road before hitting the beach - literally a couple hundred yards from Whitecap beach, as close as we could get at this unit. The grounds were neat and well kept, the outside of our particular unit was clean and presentable. The units receive direct seaspray all year long, so you can't expect perfection - but it is maintained and cared for, and it shows well. When trying to check-in and use the electronic lock on the door, our code didn't work. I used the text messaging service through the Vacasa App, and received a quick updated entry code (within 3min). The new code worked and we were in the home. The inside was clean, well equipped, and up to date. We were very happy with the home, both inside and out. The garage was great for storing our fishing/beach gear! If I had one suggestion to the owners/managers, I would recommend floor mats at the entries to try and prevent some of the sand from getting into the home. Otherwise, great place and will book again!

Rented from VRBO. Reservation was passed to Vacasa. Property was not clean upon arrival. Communicated this by text with Vacasa. Was told Guest Experience Team would reach out. Did not reach out or send housekeeping. Unable to use main deck because it was not structurally sound. Owner has door locked to keep anyone from using deck. Have requested a partial refund. Vacasa says because I communicated by text, and not by phone, they are unwilling to mitigate. VRBO is unwilling to mitigate because I dealt with Vacasa, the company they passed me to. 5 calls and 2 months later, no resolution.

Nice but dirty and no hot water

It was an ok stay it was a bit dirty and not very well maintained. The stairs are broken and steep and one of us fell down the stairs because of it. We had no hot water the entire stay so showers where rough. Tried to reach out the app multiple times no one ever responded.

Great family getaway

The location of this property is perfect- you are less than a block from the beach and can easily see it from your bedroom window or any of the 3 decks. We were a group of 8 adults and there was plenty of room for all of us. We did have trouble with the code at first to get in but we were able to easily get in contact with a representative and they fixed the problem. There are 2 places outside to hose off when you come back from the beach. 2 cars can park in the garage. ( we had to flip the breaker to be able to activate the door). The beds are comfortable and lots of towels available. We did have to plunge the upstairs shower as it was draining very slowly but that seemed to correct the problem. The pool was clean and lots of chairs to sit on. The house did smell a bit musty but I think that’s normal for the coast. We would stay here again.

Overall the property was excellent, plenty of room and very comfortable. The drawbacks- a can opener that did not work, door hinges and knobs in the main living area that were very rusty making the doors stick and very hard to open. The paper towels and toilet paper were if very poor quality, I expected better after viewing the property online.

Needs to fine tuning

Better local customer service and not a 1-800 number. They had to eventually call the local agent which would have resolved out check-in problems for us. We asked for early entry and were denied but then codes didn’t work and it took us 45 minutes to get a code that worked. We were never able to use the back door with the beach shower entrance due to code access issues. The TV naming convention of each room’s TV could be better for air-dropping shows to watch. Outside of unit is very concerning when we pulled up due to rust, dirt, sand and deterioration of anything metal. Thankfully the inside is as the photos reflect. There is a huge gap in the master bedroom door going outside to the deck that the sun shines thru all day and the wind whistles and blows all night long disturbing your sleep. No inventory of kitchen equipment which caused us to bring multiple duplicate items we didn’t need. There are multiple light switches which are confusing. The bottom basket of the freezer is missing which made it very difficult to use all the much needed freezer space. One of the bedrooms upstairs has an AC vent that drips condensation all day/night on that sleeper’s head. There was hair in the 1st floor shower, spiders in the upstairs bathtub and hair on the master bed and pillows. Smashed bloody mosquitos on the wall in the living room that hadn’t been wiped off and dead bugs on both of the windowsill by the front door and in the first floor bedroom. Needs some TLC and attention to detail by housekeeping.

Birthday Celebration

We had an amazing time. We able to easily communicate with the property manager and receive permission to decorate the house early in order to surprise my husband. We had an awesome time. I have a few things I would suggest the property management provide. Guide for the tv’s - I did not figure out how to locate local channels until the day we checked out...this was a bit frustrating. Knives - the knives are very dull please consider sharpening. Kitchen faucet- The faucet makes a loud noise when you turn the water on high. This needs to be fixed.... Hot water - Hot water doesn’t stay hot very long, especially if there are several people staying in the house. Can opener - please consider getting an electric can opener as the manual can opener does not work well..(might need a new one)

Great Location, close to the beach, and clean and neat!

Our stay with my parents, wife, brothers, and my daughter was very nice. However, 4 forks in the drawer doesn’t cut it for eight people. Coffee maker didn’t work (Keurig did work), and dishwasher was not getting water to it. Gave that job to my daughter. Townhome was very clean inside and beds were very very comfortable! I love the closeness of the beach and local bar.
