Beautiful 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath! Walk to the Beach! Trout Quarters is a 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath condo that is about a 3 block walk to the beach. It has extra sleeping with a queen sleeper sofa and a large futon. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook your catch of the day, or you can grill it outside and eat at our picnic tables. There are all new appliances in the kitchen as well as a new washer and dryer for your convenience. New bathtub/shower combinations in the two upstairs bathrooms, with new tiled surrounds. We accept friendly housebroken dogs, and have a large fenced yard that is common to the other three condos in the building. Pets and people love it! The owner lives close by and is able to answer questions or help with your stay in any way she can. We want your getaway to be the best it can be! VRBO collects the State of Texas 6% hotel tax when you book. We collect the City of Port Aransas 9% hotel tax and any pet fee directly prior to your arrival. It was clean, very homely, comfortable, everything you need is provided. The owners are available to assist and communicate amazingly. Check in was smooth and easy. Its only a 6 or 7 min walk to the beach, but a parking pass is only 12, so, up to you what you wanna do.I will say, it is a 4 plex building so you may be rolling the dice on other guests that are staying there. We had some, lets just say, less than stellar neighbors. The owners however were amazing and assisted with the situation as best they could, but obviously the neighbors behavior is no fault of theirs. If there were an Academy Award for vacation stays, Trout Quarters would win hands down for Best Setting, Best Comfort, Best Supporting Amenities, and Best Overall Guest Experience.This two-bedroom, 2.5-bath retreat was not only incredibly spacious and spotless, but it was also filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay effortless and unforgettable.The fully furnished kitchen came equipped with everything we needed to whip up meals at home. At night, we’d curl up on the cozy couch, grateful for the Roku TV, which let us keep our evening ritual of watching our favorite shows.But what truly elevated this trip was how dog-friendly the property was. We brought our schnauzer, Ivan, and he had the absolute time of his life. With plenty of outdoor space to run and play, he explored to his heart’s content while we lounged peacefully, never once worrying about safety or restrictions. It’s rare to find a place that welcomes your furry family members with such open arms.Beach access? Easy and unbeatable. We drove right up, unloaded our tents, chairs, and gear without stress, and when the day was done, that outdoor shower was a lifesaver. Washing off sandy feet (and paws), shoes, and beach gear was super easy. Most importantly, we felt safe, safe to relax, to unwind, to fully enjoy the space without a single worry. Nice gated front yard for pets. Back porch is also nice for bbq and hanging out. The only 2 negatives I have would be the parking spaces in the back are kind of small and tight to get in and out with a truck but there is also extra parking up front and the other being the ventilation for the dryer being inside the house instead of going outside. Condo was perfect for our family and two large dogs. The condo had everything we needed, just like home. We really enjoyed the fenced in yard in the mirni gs & evenings with our fur babies. The property management is very friendly and good at responding to any questions we had. The unit was stocked well and the yard was hands down the best experience for our pets. Everything was absolutely great! Communication, check-in, FULLY equipped house, super clean, area to clean off sand, nice yard for our dog, grill for dinners…. ! This place was just the right size for the 5 of us and 2 dogs. It was clean and tidy with an awesome fully stocked outdoor space.
