Perfect place!

This house is the perfect distance from the beach a short 3 minute drive! Loved the location and the layout. We will definitely stay here again for future visits.

Great Getaway

We love the location for us. The house fits our needs

Overall, we had a great experience with this property. There was a few hiccups along the way, but Melissa was very good about taking care of the problems quickly. We had a great stay, and will hopefully be going again.

This was our third stay at Pearl by the Sea and it was just as good as the first two. We’ll be back in August in fact. Melissa is a great host and her home is lovely.

Bright, well-provisioned house!

We enjoyed this brightly painted house. It was well-provisioned! We got good use out of the kitchen and laundry. It was a comfortable house, we felt very at home here--my kids loved the bunk beds. Our dog liked the yard, too! We would definitely stay here again.

Woefully Inadequate

The property was not clean or pet friendly. The yard did not have a “garden spot” but was littered with cigarette butts, construction debris, paint cans, broken pieces of blue plastic from a pail holding ashes from the rusted grill. There was no cable TV as described or basic cutlery, pans, glassware etc

Great space

Yard was much larger than expected from the pics. Yea! Host was exceptionally communicative and we were able to trade one favor for another. Bedrooms AC did not cool extremely, but were adequate. Ceiling fans located in two bedrooms, dining and living area, plus stand fan. We were quite comfortable. Location is perfect distance to the beach and downtown. If my family wasnt growing wed be back! 🙂

winter get away stay

It was a first time in Rockport TX and our first time getting out of a northern winter. We stayed mid- January to mid February. The weather wasn't as warm as we had hoped. The house is on a busy and noisy street. We appreciated the fenced in yard for our dog. The neighbor was so helpful for information. A month was too long on the beds. We wished that the windows opened so on the warmer days we could have opened them.

Great House!

Our stay in rockport was great. The pictures don't do this home justice. The front of the home is beautiful. The backyard is huge and very well fenced in. They're is a covered concrete patio area as well. It has 3 chairs and a charcoal grill and access from the kitchen/dining area. Our two small (10lb) Weiner dogs came with us and were not able to escape the fencing. All holes were covered and secured. Sadly rockports main beach area does not allow dogs. The inside of the home was very spacious and colorful. Overall our stay was amazing! Hope to come back soon!

Rockport Goal to catch a bigger fish (10 year) who catches sun perch and to bisSouth Texas Botanical

House was clean inside and out. We gather belongings to go to the beach. The beach umbrella was forgotten. The lock that was locked from inside and we were never advised where this key could be obtain. My grandson looked to find a way in. In this attempt to get in the window pane was broken. We text the property owner. Her reaction was less than help full. We did not catch a bigger fish.We did visit the South Texas Botanical Garden. The owner waited until we left to replace the window pane. Her major concern was potential loss of rentail

Great beach house

We had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect, our 3 children loved their rooms and the bed was very comfortable for us. The beach is a very short drive away, the property was perfectly clean with plenty of things that you might need. A thoughtful surprise was k-cups with creamer in the fridge, so I didn't have to go buy coffee in the morning. We will definitely stay here again, although it was a perfect size for our family this year with young kids, it will continue to be so as they grow as well.

Great location!

The location is fantastic! We are a family of 6 so the 3 bedrooms are great. There's ample space in the living room to hang out and talk or play games after a day at the beach! Only seating for 4 at the kitchen table so the adults stood during dinner, but that's not a big deal. Only downside is there is no dishwasher.

What a fun little town!

This place had everything we needed. We got our fix of beach, amazing street tacos, and fresh shrimp, and had the home base with plenty of warm water to wash away the sand, and soft couches and beds to go easy on the sunburn. Be sure to bring along the red chair in the laundry room, it's just perfect for the beach. What a great vacation!
