Permits can be purchased at convenience stores on the island or at beach rental locations, if open. This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. The pool was clean and refreshing. The koi pond was fun. The kitchen had all the dishes and utensils we needed. One bathroom faucet was non-functional and one of the three baths was TINY. The stairs to the upstairs room with the king and queen beds were too steep for my wife to climb. I am sure they do not conform to standard building codes. The fenced yard was great for the dogs but not really very pet friendly as there was no grass, but only rocks. We had a nice stay and would certainly stay there again, but would know ahead of time that my wife could not use the upstairs room. ##### Barry M. Really the main issue was downstairs bathrooms are tiny with no counter space. Really needs an update to a walk in shower instead of a tub. Other than that the furniture was very comfortable and we appreciated all the seating options. Pool is hot which I realize can’t be controlled. Also, more important, is the deck has screws sticking up so don’t go barefoot! Definitely needed a full size trash can in the kitchen instead of a tiny wastebasket.
