It was a very relaxing stay. The area is a short distance down the road from Whitecap Beach. The furniture accommodations were a little worn and dated, but it definitely did the job for my family. There is plenty are sleeping accommodations, enough for at least 10 or 11 people. Plenty of cookware and utensils provided, great for my family who cooks all of the time vs. eating out at restaurants. There are no basic seasonings, such as salt/pepper that some short-term rentals include. For those with dogs, there is a dog park nearby in close walking distance. The downside is that the dog park is right next to a water treatment facility, and the smell is not great. Padre Ecapes was super responsive and has the best customer care of any short-term rental owner/property manager that I've ever experienced! All in all, we enjoyed our stay! ##### Taylor F. The downstairs bed has a bad sway in the middle and the couple who slept in there said it forced them to keep being g pushed to the middle. Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property is in a great location and the island is a great place to visit. The property is past it's prime and needs some work to be nice again. Upon arrival you are met with a swarm of mosquitoes and the smell of death from the trash sitting next to the front door for over a week. The house has almost everything provided in the descriptions but it is all well used and dated. Cleanliness was good for a once over but a deep clean could be done. Maintenance was lacking. From the AC filter that hadn't been changed in months to the back deck nearing collapse, the property needed work. Also, with a family there is no deadbolt or latch on the front door, just a standard door handle with a code from the outside. Anyone with the code or a tool could come in at anytime. ##### Robert M.
