Relax between a private balcony and a lush communal area with a pool, and drive minutes to golf and coastal trails. The main entry opens to a common area with access to a garage and laundry area. Stairs lead up to a second-floor living space with an open design that lets you socialize, eat, and cook as a group. Hang out in the living room and watch favorite shows on a flat-screen TV. There’s plenty of seating between a love seat and two couches -- one of which folds out into a queen-size bed. There’s also a queen-size bed in the third bedroom, conveniently located just off the living area. On your private balcony, a patio table seating four overlooks the Gulf of Mexico. From here, make your way down to the shared pool area for an afternoon dip, or take the boardwalk and stroll steps to the beach. Indoors, a dining table between the living area and kitchen offers extra seating. The kitchen itself is large and well-stocked, featuring top-of-the-line appliances (including an electric stove/oven, dishwasher, and microwave) and plenty of pots, pans, and dishes to make cooking a cinch. Recently remodeled, a bathroom is also situated just off this space. The remaining bedrooms are located upstairs. On the right, a comfortable primary bedroom features a plush king-size bed, cushioned chair, a TV, and access to a brand-new deck. In the mornings, enjoy a relaxing soak in a large en-suite bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Next door, the guest bedroom has a twin-over-full bunk bed and an alcove desk area. Sep 26, 2023 #### Old and in dire need of fixing up When we first arrived and went inside all appeared to be clean. After a little while we started noticing some (major) issues. Almost none of the electrical outlets in the living room area were working. The outside door posts are rotting away. The air outlets and inlets are covered with black mold, I can only imagine what the inside of the ducts look like. The shower curtain upstairs was old and ripped as well as the bottom of the upstairs bathroom door had swollen up and is just plain nasty. The front door knob is just about to fall off and one of the hinge pins of the balcony door must have all rusted away and was no longer there. We only stayed for two days so we lived with it. Don't have to worry about forgetting something cause it's so easy to just pop back up or come and go from the beach. The pool was a great feature also. The whole enclave of houses was cute and friendly and well kept. So easy to drive into Port A for groceries or restaurants. It was our best Port A trip hands down out of a total of 5. ##### James T. Lack of things like garbage bags, dishwasher detergent (even one) and a dish scrubber were a bit inconvenient. The dishwasher was not in good shape. Our biggest inconvenience was that, although it slept 9, there were 3 mugs, 6 forks and 6 spoons, and 8 kitchen chairs. The kitchen utensils in general are not set up for large scale cooking as needed for 9\. The whole place was in need of some maintenance. Beware of fire ants mounds all around the property. Dishwasher doesn’t clean, fridge temp was warm and took a while to cool off. No bedsheets given for the pull out sofa bed, I would recommend bringing a mattress cover. The shower on main floor does not drain well. AC vents very dusty and not screwed in properly. No privacy. The proximity to the beach and pool is the highlight. The home however showed little concern for those staying. Their Queen bedroom has NO privacy. Not just no lock but a completely see through bi fold door. There is nothing in the room either for dresser or lamp or side table. The upstairs is the same without a place to sit a cup of water. The shower door won’t stay shut but don’t worry bc one person can barely fit in with no room for turning around. If you’re older you might also want to know you have to go up to the 3rd story to access the tiny shower. Not a great stay for a group of 6 or more. I immediately informed Vacasa and spent 2 days of vacation trying to get some resolution and after finally getting the property manager there was little said, no compassion or apologies that there was no place to change in privacy without going to the 3rd floor. Let’s start on Tuesday 5days before my trip where I contacted the host to inform them about the hurricane in the gulf and how it may affect the trip, never heard back from anyone until Thursday, and that is because I messaged them again. When I spoke to the representative on the phone I was assured my rental was still good and I am to continue my trip as planned with no remorse regarding the safety of my family. I was told I DO NOT get a refund. Come Saturday my destination issued a manadatory evacuation in which I did reach out to hosts AGAIN, and was told the same thing that I am to continue my trip as planned even though I’m telling the representative about the evacuation. I was told that an email or text will go out if something changes. Sunday morning (da of the trip) I reach out again and wait for a response waited hours with no response so I drove to my destination. When I showed up the house was complete disaster!!! Was not cleaned, all bedding was in balls on floor, there was sand throughout the entire rental, dirty dishes in sink, no toilet paper, no paper towels, no clean bedding or clean towels. They didn’t do anything to prep for my family’s visit. I reached out to the host via text and someone apologized for the non cleaning and said someone should contact me right away. Well the next day comes and it’s late afternoon and no one has reached out, no one has come by the property, so I message again. Please contact me ASAP ##### Lee B.
