Located in the gated community of Lost Colony, this 3BR/3BA standalone home is just steps from the on-site pool and the boardwalk to the beach. Take in amazing Gulf views from the kitchen, living room, and primary suite, and large furnished deck. Downtown Port Aransas is a 10-minute drive. LIVING AREA Wall-to-wall windows showcase wonderful Gulf views in the living area. Relax and take in the vistas or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. KITCHEN & DINING Outfitted with a full suite of appliances, the kitchen has everything you’ll need to cook up your catch of the day. When you’re ready to eat, the dining table seats six. BED & BATH This vacation rental sleeps 10 guests in three bedrooms, each appointed with a TV. Wake up to beautiful Gulf views in the primary suite, which features a king bed, a sitting area, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The second bedroom holds a queen bed, while the third bedroom has a twin-over-twin bunk bed and a queen-over-queen bunk bed. Two guest bathrooms each offer a walk-in shower. OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES Sip morning coffee or dine alfresco on the large furnished deck and soak in the sweeping Gulf views. Lost Colony community amenities include an unheated pool (open year-round) and boardwalk access to the beach. EXTRA PERKS & MORE DETAILS Complimentary Wi-Fi and a washer/dryer are provided. Driveway parking is available for two cars. Additional parking is available in the overflow parking lot next to the Lost Colony ocean gate. Per HOA rules, street and grass parking are not permitted (cars will be towed at guest expense). Golf carts are not permitted in the Lost Colony community. This home has a three-story layout. Use of the fireplace is prohibited. Due to the extreme risk to individual safety and property, city ordinance strictly prohibits the use of any type of cooking grills within 10' of a rental home and never on any decks or balconies. Violators are subject to significant fines from the city and community, and are responsible for all damage and liabilities. Fireworks are also strictly prohibited. LOCATION The coastline is a 2-minute walk from home, accessed via the private community boardwalk. Spend a day paddling or exploring the trails at nearby Mustang Island State Park. For added entertainment, schedule a deep-sea fishing excursion. The heart of Port Aransas is a 10-minute drive. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Security camera details: This vacation rental is equipped with two active, exterior security cameras: one facing the front porch and the other on the garage facing the parking spaces. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Our family loved our 3 week stay at Lost Colony. The views from the house and our deck were spectacular. We walked the beautiful beach every day. Quick drive into Port Aransas for great restaurants, dolphin and ship watching. Bird watching at the nature preserves was so much fun. We would stay here again when in Port Aransas. ##### Laurie H. It was great to be just a short walk to the beach—I grew up in Corpus Christi and really miss having the beach nearby. The condo was well-appointed, very clean and extremely comfortable. When we had a problem with the front door lock, Vacasa was on it and had it fixed within 30 minutes. We all enjoyed our time there and plan to try to rent this unit for our trip next year. ##### Katie B. We did not see evidence of mothballs but there were several locked closets. I'm assuming the pungent smell was coming from there. Second, our rental was billed as being right next to the pool which it was. However, that pool was so filthy, I wouldn't have put my dog in there. I have a video to prove how awful it was. My family had to go down to the smaller pool which has a 15-person capacity and the pool was full. The pool never got cleaned while we were there. Lastly, the sofa was broken. You could not sit on it without sinking several inches down in the middle. It was like getting swallowed by the sofa. The house was not equipped with a dustpan to go with the broom and the house had an electric skillet but no chord. We asked for some sort of a refund as the pool was a very important part of our selection process and we got the run around. I will not rent here again. ##### Paula G. Could not get any help from the host when we arrived an hour and half after check in and the place was no ready. Never received a call from the host, vacasa was no help.
