Sleeps 10-12\. The home sits at only 500 ft to Coronado Beach and the Coronado Ferry Landing, where you are able to see the spectacular skyline city views across the Coronado Bay Bridge each day. This luxurious and professionally staged home contains wonderful décor and neutral tones. Inside this home you will enjoy a delightful ambiance, created with an abundance of windows, a number of balconies, and a rooftop deck. This home has hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, a chef's gourmet kitchen with 6 gas burner stove, double ovens, a dishwasher, a granite island and counter tops. We have a large wine cooler for those who like to relax at night. There is a wonderful entertaining area that opens up to the family room, where you can find plenty of seating. Children have the TV, DVDs and game consoles to keep them busy after a long day out. Up the open staircase you will find a spa-like master suite with a whirlpool tub and shower, high soaring ceilings and a king size bed. There are also 2 additional queen bedrooms upstairs. Each bedroom has its own 40 inch flat screen TV. The roof top deck on 4th floor is right off the master suite. Enjoy the view of the Coronado Bay and San Diego Bay skyline while fireworks pop each evening during the summer. Have a barbecue or sit back and relax on our fine patio furniture and eat from our 8 seat table. Down on the first floor, you will find another family suite, with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. Kids can enjoy their own TV, watch numerous movies on DVD and play games. The entire home is wired for high speed internet. Across the soaring 11,179 ft Coronado Bay Bridge from San Diego Bay is the relaxed Southern California beach town of Coronado Island with its endless sunshine and bayside overlooking the San Diego skyline. It is the most amazing view you have ever seen. Coronado is a quiet, homey village, and has a ferry that commutes back to the San Diego Convention Center and Midway Military Ship Museum at downtown San Diego. Stroll down 1 mile of Orange Avenue, considered as the main street to the heart of a pedestrian paradise, hosting 5 star restaurants, 3 of which are waterfront premier and world class shopping venues, and a charming collection of eclectic art galleries. This home is stunningly beautiful, in a very desirable location, walking distance to the pier, shops, bars and restaurants. I would like to point out a few items that we had some problems with. Handicapped accessible? NOT! It is not advertised to be, but high ceilings and 3 different levels made the stair climbing a bit difficult for some of us. My husband and I stayed in the lower bedroom suite, the most accessible from the street but still with stairs to reach it. The furniture is just as pictured - plenty of seating, but none that we found comfortable. Sofas, padded chairs were very low, kitchen bar stools very high, and dining room wicker chairs not padded for comfort. Bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable, with different storage in each one. Kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with a variety of items. The only thing missing was a box of tissues! We didn't have a car, so didn't use the garage space. Location is very walkable, and we used UBER as needed. There's also a FREE SUMMER SHUTTLE - PUBLIC BUS SYSTEM - that takes you anywhere on the island. We used the ferry to the mainland several times. $8 per ride/pp. Some limited outdoor spaces can be found on different levels, but the roof top deck area is a bit tough to access. For guests with no mobility issues, I highly recommend this rental home. ##### Marge K. We love Coronado in general and love this property specifically because it is at the quiet end of Orange Avenue. We were pleasantly surprised that we had access from the garage directly into the condo, which is a change from previous. We also enjoyed the upgraded TVs and TV service. This is an incredibly convenient location, sweet little neighborhood and amazing walking with views. It can be a little noisy on weekends as it is near bars and restaurants. The beds were all comfortable. The WiFi was really bad, so make sure you have a source for internet, like a HotSpot on your phone. The TV's were very hard to use. There are some weird building/renovation things going on...a hole in the ceiling in the kitchen, an electrical plug right near the kitchen sink and very few screens on the windows. The 4 bedrooms allowed for options for situating family members to what worked best. The large living room with lots of seating was a great place for family games. The roof top deck was perfect for enjoying early evening happy hours and bbqing dinner. The kitchen was equipped with all we needed (from high end appliances to quality cookware) to cook some great meals! The host was very accommodating and responsive to inquiries I had. Our daugher is living in San Diego and we brought our two adult sons and there was plenty of space for us all to be together and she was able to spend time with us there. Great location and easy to walk or bike ride almost anywhere. The kitchen appliances are top notch although some of the pots and knives have seen better days.
