We’ve been to the Outer Banks many times and this was the first time on the four-wheel-drive Corolla Beach. It was great. It was such a fun experience riding on the beach. The home was beautiful and well stocked. I cooked several meals and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and bake. Great views. Horses were nearby everyday which was so much fun. The home is in a more secluded area so a lot of the beach traffic is found south of the home. Pool and hot tub clean and ready to go. And the hosts could not have been more lovely. Spacious and very clean with a super comfy large couch and beds. The views from this home are amazing and every evening, the wild horses came right up to the house. We loved that the house is on the 4x4 beach! We had a blast driving on the beach every day. We could walk right out the back door to the beach which was never crowded near this house. The heated pool was great with lounge chairs and a hot tub for the late nights. We loved that it had two out door showers! This house is fully stocked, especially the kitchen! We checked in with no issues. Within the first several hours the blower on the middle floor went out. The owner immediately addressed the issue and had window units installed. The pool is truly lovely. The location is awesome. The decks and walkways could use some attention, but it’s an absolutely wonderful place to stay! We have rented many times in the OBX and this was one the best! If you can handle the 4x4 drive to get there, you will love this property. You can walk from the house to the pool then over the dune and onto the beach! We also saw horses everyday - including a visit into our carport!
