We were pleasantly surprised by how well appointed their beach equipment closet was. We had chairs, sun shades, umbrellas, a wagon and beach toys. The beach was a short walk away down the boardwalk and it was conveniently located right next to the lifeguard station which adds to the safety for swimmers. The Harris Teeter is also walking distance away which was very convenient. I love the new bike paths installed along the road and we were thrilled that Grammie's place came with a couple of bikes! It was very clean and well-stocked with starter supplies. The rental agency provided timely communication and responded quickly to small issues that needed to be addressed like changing of a lightbulb and a broken set of blinds on the front door. The setup was very nice, with a great outdoor deck area with a picnic table and some Adirondack chairs. One of the things we loved is that we were away from the center of the complex where the pool was located so it was quieter and more private. The beach area was a reasonable distance walk.
