Watch the wildlife from the top deck, or enjoy the sunset from the screened in porch directly off of the kitchen. Located only 3 miles from the paved road, you are almost sure to get a visit from the famous Corolla Beach Horses. Like a past guest said in a past review "where else can you see dolphins in the front yard in the ocean and have horses in the back?" This tranquil Corolla beach cottage provides all you need to relax and unwind, only steps away from the ocean. Shops and restaurants are a short drive down the beach to the quaint town of Corolla. Loved the view and the beach. However, one should know that one has to have a 4x4 car to drive to the house. The beach is the road and tires need to be deflated before entering the beach inflated after exiting the beach, every time. Also, one has to bring linens, towels, and one cannot drink the water from the faucets. Finally, the bed mattresses and sofas were were very bad for our backs. ##### Juha S. While sitting on the deck with a glass of wine, the view was great. The owners told us they recently purchased the property and are going to update the inside. The woodwork and furniture could use some updating but overall the house was great for us. Keep in mind that you have to deflate your tires and drive about 3.5 miles up the beach.
