Absolutely couldn’t recommend this beautiful lodge more if I tried! What a lovely place with the kindest people! Me and my 2 year old had the best stay, in a wonderfully spacious room that had everything I could have possibly needed…including a kitchen!

Excellent all round, did bowling, played pool, had a good night's sleep and a delicious breakfast. Everyone from staff to customers very welcoming. Will definitely come again!!

We had a small issue with the original room assigned to us but this was resolved very quickly and was moved to another room with an upgrade , also only 2 mins walk to the large beach.

Good value with friendly staff!
First impression was misleading, casual outside tables but friendly staff when we found them! Good breakfast and tasty evening meals. Our room large, possibly recently updated - comfortable bed, smart en-suite - good value!

Great Find
This was a last minute booking as i need some where to stay for 1 night at the Royal Cornwall show @ £95.00 B&B they were not ripping people off like other hotels in the area. Very pleasant double room with a good shower. Had a great evening meal & the locals were interesting to listen to. Breakfast was very good. I will be staying there again, very friendly people.

Stayed here a number of times now. Always my 1st choice when in the Newquay area. Friendly staff, great food and the bed is sooo comfortable. Locals engage with you, it's like home away from home. Even made me a packed lunch to take to work because I have to leave before breakfast starts.

Generally a pleasant stay, staff were friendly, could not fault the food. My main problem was being in room number 4 which is directly above the bar the noise was continuous until close.

One night stay
We were allocated a lovely apartment instead of the room we were expecting. The apartment was spacious and newly refurbished, an ideal space as we had a dog with us. Only 5 mins walk to Porth beach so well located. The hotel car park was full when we returned in the evening, but we were able to park further up the road in a residential area.

Perfect location for beach.
Very convenient & comfy hotel a few minutes walk to the beach. The room was very clean with all amenities I required for my stay. Friendly staff, also dog friendly. Nice relaxing bar, with good food. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel near the beach
A great stay and well located hotel on the outskirts of Newquay. Only a ahort walk to the nearesr beach also. The room was great and breakfast good too. I ate in the restaurant too and was a good evening meal after a long day traveling and work.

Comfortable accommodation, clean and tidy. Personally had difficulty with access. Steep external stairs and landing was a little difficult for me, but I’m not as fit as I used to be!! Breakfast was good and enjoyable and the hosts/staff very helpful. Whilst the hotel is not 5* it does tick most of the boxes. I would recommend the Porth Lodge for a good base to tour Cornwall. Thank you Carol and Dave for a good holiday.
