"The property is positioned well for scenic views. However, traffic for a public lookout is a big problem around sunset, so plan accordingly because we were stuck in traffic for 30 mins. They have weddings constantly which prevents hotel patrons from using the property lookout which was part of the reason I booked here. The hotel grounds are pretty, clean, and the amenities are great. The hotel staff at check in weee could have been friendlier and more helpful though. The Lodge does provide a free shuttle within a 5 mile radius which is useful since parking is a problem. Larry is the driver and he is very friendly and helpful. They do not have a restaurant but a food truck which offers burgers, pizza and alcoholic drinks and the people there weee friendly and helpful. Overall, a good option with great views, just be mindful of weddings and traffic!"

"We booked this as a hotel, but it is also a timeshare resort. One of the nicest and most comfortable timeshare suite we've been in even when trading our own timeshare for another resort. Staff was courteous and respectful, and a minor maintenance issue was fixed immediately. Quiet suite with a great view."
