If 11/10 was possible this would be it !
Could not have had a better stay or had any better more informative hosts ! It's a lovely looking historical building , the rooms are massive and spotlessly clean it has all the mod cons you need for a weekend visit or a long stay. For such a large room it did not have one speck of dust anywhere, bathroom well equipped with everything you need and towells were massive. The breakfast had lots of options and it was extremely tasty and filling , the menu even tells you were the products were bought locally. Easy to find , minutes away from train station and bus station, it's in a quiet area but a small 5 minute walk away you have loads of pubs shops and places to eat. John and Lorraine as well as being very welcoming know everything about Cork! Very helpful local knowledge is incredible and Lorraine would always whip out tablet just to confirm bus times,train times, weather forecasts and bits of info if we were planning on any day trips we went for a day in Cobh and also visit to blarney I'd recommend both if you have time.

The owner is very hospitable, it’s like I’m home. She dropped us off to the bus station. The breakfast is excellent. The room is spacious and clean. I want to come back again.

Great hosts!
Our hosts were very friendly, helpful and offered good recommendations for where to eat and go for live music. The breakfasts were excellent. Lorraine did a great job trying to fix my husband's glasses!

We had a wonderful time in Cork.
We were well received by our hosts. We had a large room that was very clean and comfortable. Lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to see. A wonderful Irish breakfast included in the price of the room.

Our hosts Lorraine & John were very informative, helpful & have a B&B full of character. You have a refrigerator in your room, picnic supplies ( glasses, cutlery, plates, napkins) even wash cloths. Very near the railway.

Good location for Station, City Centre and parking
Our host was charming and hospitable. She showed us around and gave us good advice on what to do and where to go in the City and surrounding area. Great breakfast, even had veggie sausages. A welcome start to my day. Well recommended B&B.

Nice B&B, convenient for the airport
Staff and the B&B were very helpful and friendly. Parking was not difficult to find and it was very convenient to travel to the airport in the morning. Can walk from here to the center of Cork if you are happy to walk a bit further. Very good breakfast, lots of choice.

Great B&B close to the centre of town.
Lovely friendly couple, they made us very welcome. Room clean and comfortable, they even ran to veggie sausages with breakfast, maybe the only place in Ireland 😆. Five minute walk to the centre of town, good price and great location. Brendan Reidy.

Lovely relaxed/busy stay
Great B&B in very convenient location. The hosts are the best B&B hosts I have ever come across. They were so helpful from booking a taxi for us for getting back to airport to making sure we would find our way to the concert (the main reason for our visit to Cork)we went to. Also we wanted to go to Blarney castle so they told us were to get bus from. We were only in Cork for 2 days but because our hosts were so great it was a busy but relaxed break. Breakfast was great especially the homemade banana bread and the oat biscuits. 10 out of 10 from us

Close to Cork
The owners of the B&B were very helpful and gave us tips on where to go and how to get there. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional. They were wonderful to talk to and did a great job accommodating tourists to make sure they had the best possible experience. They were well versed on the area and what attractions to avoid and which ones to be sure to take in.

Convenient location right by main railway station, just a few minutes walk from city centre. Very helpful and friendly hosts. I had a triple room for single use - plenty of space, furnishings fairly basic but comfortable. Excellent cooked breakfast.

2 night stay in Cork
Kent House was a fun place to stay. It's an old Victorian home with lots of stairs but even our 90 year old mom was able to make it up and down for our 2 night stay. It's located close to the main town area with shopping and restaurants. Parking can be iffy but it's there if you look. John and Lorraine were the best with knowledge of what us tourists should do and in what order!

My husband and I wanted a not too expensive place to stay on a visit to Cork to see The National in the marquee, we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely comfortable accommodation we found at Kent House and the lovely lady who looked after us so well.

Kent House B and B in Cork
Kent House B and B was good. Our room at the front of the house was a bit noisy due to traffic but the proprietors more than made up for that with their friendliness. The breakfast was fabulous .....and we are hard to feed vegetarians. All in all, I would recommend this place! Close to great restaurants and over all welcoming.

My 2 young adult children and I spent 2 nights here upon arrival in Ireland. Cork is a great place to visit, and Lorraine was very helpful in suggestions and on how to book online for cheaper tour tickets and bus tickets. I would definitely stay again.

Friendly B&B in a convenient location
We stayed at the Kent for two nights and found it to be adequate for our needs. The host and hostess John and Lorraine were very friendly and helpful during our stay. We had a room at the front of the house but there was no road noise in the room at all. Breakfast was excellent both the cooked and the choice of cereals. It is conveniently located just yards from the rail station and a short walk to the city and bus station.

Older Home as Bed and Breakfast
This is an older home in Cork used as a bed and breakfast. It is in a very convenient location to the trains and buses and within walking distance of tour buses out of Cork. Although the home is older, the owners keep it very clean and well maintained. Breakfast is great and the breakfast room is very nice.

Kent House was great!
We only stayed one night. It was convenient to downtown and some great pubs. The room was very clean and large for a B&B. Loraine and John were wonderful hosts were warm, outgoing and very helpful. They helped resolve some travel issues we had. We would stay there again.

Lovely B&B, a real gem.
We spent just one night at The Kent House B&B and were most pleasantly surprised. Our room was spacious, clean and beautifully furnished with every attention to detail. We had a flight to catch the next morning and without having to ask breakfast was offered half an hour earlier than the the usual time. Also, despite being near the railway station it was very quiet at night. We would recommend this B&B as fantastic value for money

L'accoglienza è stata ottimale, come pure la camera, pulita e ben arredata. Buona e abbondante anche la colazione. Non lontano dal centro, con la possibilità di spostarsi anche in autobus (solo due fermate per il centro). Lo consiglio vivamente a chi si deve o vuole recare a Cork.

Best B&B so far
Excellent B&B 10 min walk from centre of Cork. Very much enjoyed our 3-night stay. Family room was 2 adjoining rooms, ome with two singles - perfekt when travelling with teens. Lorraine was very helpful with suggestions for places to visit. Will definitely stay here, next time we're in Cork.

Estancia inolvidable en Cork.
Estuvimos muy bien y nos pareció muy confortable, pese a estar cerca de una carretera principal, estaba muy bien insonorizada y pudimos descansar plácidamente después de pasar una tarde inolvidable en un pub de Cork. Auf der Durchreise nach Dublin haben wir eine Nacht in Cork verbracht. Die Unterkunft liegt am Bahnhof, so dass man mit geschlossenem Fenster schlafen muss. Ansonsten war alles OK.

주인아주머니 정말 친절하심. 거기다 밥도 굿. 기차여행자라면 정말 좋음. 바로 기차역 옆임. 다만 시티센터에서 약15분정도 걷는거리라 밤늦게 여성분들은 걷지 말기를 권함

Gemütliches Zimmer mit tollem Frühstück
Das Zentrum war vom Hotel in ca. 15 Gehminuten erreichbar. Das Zimmer ruhig und gross. Vor allem das Badezimmer war sehr grosszügig. Die Abwicklung beim ein- und auschecken total unkompliziert. Beim Frühstück fühlten wir uns wie zu Hause. Schön gemacht.

Nettes B&B in altem Haus
Wir (2 Erwachsene Sohn, 16) haben zwei Nächte in einem Familienzimmer hier verbracht. Dieses bestand sogar aus zwei Räumen, sehr schön. Davon einer mit Playstation. Ausstattung einfach, aber absolut o.k. Nette Vermieter, die mit Rat und Tat gerne unterstützt haben. Sehr gutes, natürlich frisch zubereitetes irisches Frühstück, alternativ kontinental.

B&B chaleureux et accueillant.
Très bon acceuil dans ce b&b. Chambres comfortables. Bien apprécié la suite familiale. Petit déjeuné délicieux servi avec le sourir de l'hôtesse. Situé près du centre ville (10 mn de marche). On peut laisser sa voiture sans souci. Bons conseils de notre hôte.

Prettige B&B van vriendelijk echtpaar
Het verblijf in Kent House is ons zeer goed bevallen. De ligging is ietsjes uit het centrum, maar Cork is niet zo groot, dus alles was nog prima op loopafstand, en voor uitstapjes is het erg handig dat het treinstation zo dichtbij is. De kamer was ruim, schoon en netjes ingericht. De service was uitmuntend; Lorraine bereide iedere ochtend een uitgebreid vers ontbijt en had ondertussen ook genoeg tips over de omgeving, die onze vakantie nog beter maakten. We zouden graag eens terugkeren!

God morgenmad og perfekt beliggenhed
Fremragende morgenmad efter eget valg, tilberedt af Lorraine, bare godt. Beliggenheden er lige ved stationen så bus 205 går direkte ind til centrum, eller man kan blot spadsere derind. Fri Wifi. God information om Cork fra John og Lorraine.

We did not stay there. Because, when i arrived, the owner told us, it was full, there is no room for us. The owner started to blame us we did not pay the rental. I told you that is condition for "pay later" , then he even mean to blame us that we wanted to take the advantage, because we booked three people room is cheaper than double room. This is B&B is absolute no credit, no business moral. He failed this deal, and not feel bad for this, by contrast, he blame to the innocent man.

Tosi mukava B&B paikka.Sijaitsi ihan rauhallisella alueella pienen kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta.Vieressä rautatieasema ja bussipysäkki.Omistajapariskunta aivan mahtavan mukavaa ja avuliasta.Mikä tahansa kysymys tai probleema niin apu tuli aina. "Lady of the house" teki loistavan Full Irish Breakfastin joka aamu.Siisti ja kodinomainen paikka,vanha perinteinen talo.Suosittelen lämpimästi
