Clean and comfortable. Very quiet for the most part. Next time I will opt to be upstairs though because the people above me were walking excessively and could hear it all day/night. But that has nothing to do with the room. It was very nice and the owner was friendly;

Try the other place

This place was not clean, the walls desperately needed paint. The bed was not comfortable. The vanity light did not work and there were no bedside lamps. However, the TV was new. The toilet was new and the tub sides were new.

Minor Issues Best Price

Was a nice stay considering the price and location. Only problem I had to provide my own hand soap and could not watch TV because the speaker had bad static in it as if it was blown out. The beds a little to firm but do able. The refrigerator and microwave worked good. Other problem was manager wasn’t in the office at checkout time and made me late to my appointment since I needed my cash deposit back. We will stay again since the little issues weren’t that big of a deal.

Had a great time but with having an Autistic Non Verbal child he does not do good with changes and wanted to go home so he was crying for about an hour. Which I tried my best to keep him quiet because I know the walls are thin. And staff came banging on the door saying we were being too loud and I explained to him that it’s his first time being away from home and that he is nonverbal and he didn’t seem understanding. That was my only issue other than that the rooms were nice clean and quiet and super roomy.

Excellent one night stay to visit Sequoia park. Corcoran is a nice small town, has everything you need for a quick stop. The room was very clean and the person in the reception very very polite and with a beautiful smile. Thank you!

The room was as expected - I have stayed in the past and had a warm connection with the proprietors, a couple who made my stays pleasant. The issue that I had with the Budget Inn Motel was that the current managers/proprietors were woefully ignorant about the federal regulations regarding Registered Service Animals. After paying, after having received my room key, I mentioned that I planned to stay again at The Budget Inn Motel, soon, for 6 months, while working at a nearby facility, and would be bringing my service dog with me. The front office manager started shouting, "We are not a pet familiy, there are no pets allowed here." I started explain that a legitimate Registered Service Animal must be allowed in all public spaces whereupon another man appeared (the first man's brother?), and they became so loud and agitated, waving their arms while approaching me, that I felt threatened and called 911 (I have never called 911 on anyone before). While awaiting the arrival of the Corcoran Police Department Officer, I noticed that one of the brothers had scurried out of the front office to lock the door to the room for which I had just paid. The 2 men told me to get out of front office, and off the property, and informed me that I would not be allowed to stay the night. Eventually, the Sergeant arrived from CPD, and the 2 men were persuaded to allow me to spend the night. Could someone from the ADA please go pay this motel a visit?
