This house is private and quiet, but just a short trip to many great waterfall hikes and even convenient to the airport. The house has a terrific view, and the owner gave me some great hike information. There are hike books and maps in the house and the kitchen was well stocked. The view provided a gorgeous way for us to end the day sitting out by the fire pit sharing stories from the day. The location made it easy for us to reach several different hikes quickly. All the suggestions left in the house from the owner and previous guests helped us plan new activities each day and find some great new hikes we hadn't planned on. This house was exceptionally clean, with the most gorgeous view of the river. There was wildlife (deer and we saw coyote pups!!) and a lavender farm nearby. So many things to do and see in such a close proximity. We had places to hike, falls to see, the river, places to eat and pretty close to Portland for a trip there. The house was perfect for our family of 6, and stocked well enough to make food and have a place to all sit down together to eat. Comfortable furniture and beds, and fun Nintendo for the kids (and the big kid, my husband😬). If we go back sometime I would seek out this gem again! ##### Danica S.
