Very private and peaceful. House was nicely updated. The bathroom could use some work but it is an older house. The house was warm and welcoming with the fireplace going when we arrived. We only were in the house for a few hours that might having attended a concert over at McMenamin’s in Troutdale but we spent a nice morning overlooking the Gorge. When we first drove up we noticed that the house is close to another property however they have taken steps to make this property as private as possible. Our stay was nothing short of incredible! Our hosts were available but not intrusive. The views were incredible. The house is beautiful, and furnished with all the amenities we could have asked for! All in all we had a quiet, relaxing, and rejuvenating stay and are eagerly looking forward to renting this place again soon! Also, Moira the dog is such a cutie! ##### Christopher M. Steep stairs. No available outlets to plug you devices in one bedroom upstairs as they have wall heaters plugged in. Bed uncomfortable.
