Designed as a rustic backcountry retreat, entering the warm and inviting lobby of Tucker Mountain Lodge will make you feel like you've just stepped into a historic National Park Lodge! Just beyond the lobby, you’ll find a heated, secure locker room for your skis, a steam room, a large outdoor hot tub, and a fitness center that features a weight machine, two exercise bikes, a treadmill, and an elliptical trainer. Our condo is beautifully decorated with a winter lodge theme, which is highlighted by a warm river rock fireplace. We have created a haven with all the luxuries of home and then some: coffee maker, crock pot, ample dining ware and utensils, newer furniture, paint and new hardwood floors. The kitchen is beautifully tiled and open to the dining and living areas. There is a four-burner stove with full-size oven, a microwave, full-size refrigerator and a dishwasher. The family room has a flat-screen TV with a full assortment of cable channels. There is a sectional sofa that converts to a queen-sized convertible bed. It's incredibly comfortable for a convertible bed. There is also a television with full cable in the bedroom, which is perfect for the grown-ups while the kids sleep in the other room! The mattress in the bedroom is a Serta Perfect Sleeper (Firm). It's on the firm side, but comfortable enough for those who prefer a softer mattress. The outdoor balcony overlooks the hot-tub area, and offers great views of the slopes. Our condo is at the end of a hallway, so you never have to listen to people walking by your door. It is also far from the elevator, so elevator noise will never keep you up at night. One spot in an underground heated parking garage is included – so unload your luggage and take an elevator straight to the condo without having to go outside! Once you're settled, explore the center village where you'll find shops, ice skating, great dining, bars and night clubs. Everything you'll need is within walking distance from our condominium. While you are just 75 yards from the lifts of Center Village, a free shuttle will take you to any other lifts in Copper Mountain's Union Creek or East Village. This property is in one of the Village’s newest buildings and therefore it is well maintained, highly appointed, and extremely homey. You will feel right at home! Nearby ski areas include: A-Basin, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Vail. Our condo is conveniently close to the towns of Frisco, Breckenridge, Silverthorne, Dillon, Keystone and Vail. There is also coin-operated laundry and an ice machine located in the building. This is a non-smoking unit and pets are not allowed. A 3-night minimum stay is required during the ski season. No AC was and an initial surprise but easily fixed by the great mountain air with the box fan in front of the balcony door and opening the windows. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would have earned a 5th star. The building has great amenities, and the host was very informative and accomodating with pre-arrival content. I would stay here again and highly reccomend. ##### Luke S. It has a great opening presence when you first walk in with a new rustic cabin feel. The underground heated garage is really convenient for taking skis in and out. We were at a race camp and had several pairs of skis and chose not to use the locker as it would fill it up. Very close to restaurants. We went early December, and the village is relatively dead, but we're okay with that. Overall, this is a great place to stay with some minor issues. The bed was a bit small and squeaked. I don't think someone had stayed there for a while as the kitchen drain smelled but resolved with dish soap down the drain and ran the water / garbage disposal. Also, the batchroom door catches on the floor and the shower squeeks. THESE ARE ALL SMALL ISSUES, but wanted to point them out. ##### Scott M. Séjour de 3 nuits en septembre 2024 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### baldheadned 9 sept. 2024 Points forts : Propreté #### Nice location The condo matched the description perfectly: it was clean, nicely set up, and fully equipped with everything we needed. However, finding the condo was quite confusing. When we picked up our keys and received directions, they were from a location that was many miles away from the condo itself. The envelope contained directions along with a list of five different properties, making it unclear which one was ours. We narrowed it down to two. When we called for help, the staff weren't sure either. After unloading our car, we went into the building we thought was ours, but our room wasn't there. We called again, but the call was abruptly cut off, and we didn’t receive a return call. We ended up wandering around and checking other buildings before finally locating our room. The next day, I received a text with the correct building information, which was puzzling since we had already figured it out ourselves. Overall, the directions provided were not clear enough, leading to a frustrating experience. Part of this was our fault as we had received many emails and texts, and they all had a little bit different information. We had brought our own food, expecting to grill but the grill was not working. Cooked our ribs a different way, a little bit disappointing. The couch was comfortable but the bed was not. There was a free concert and a mountain run while we were there. It made it a very nice experience and we enjoyed this very much. The unit was perfectly sized for our family of four, with stunning views and all the essentials well-stocked. Tamra was incredibly helpful and kind, making our visit even more enjoyable. The location was ideal for our quick trip to Leadville for the Leadville 100, and we also had a blast with the fun activities on the mountain.
