"Nice comfortable accommodation in remote part of the country. It definitely is the best option around that I am aware of. The food and bar options were quite good as well. I sure wish they would include refrigerators as we were on a 3 week road trip with items that needed refrigeration ( for my husband’s diet). They did have a free ice machine that certainly helped out."

"We loved everything about the lodge, the rooms were very clean and the rustic decor made us feel like we were right at home. The owners we very friendly and nice. We ate supper at the restaurant and it was very good. The staff were wonderful they told us a few places to go while we were in Valdez. We stayed in 8 different places on our trip to Alaska and this was our favorite! "

"We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed—but what really stood out was the beautiful lake view.One big surprise was how spacious the place felt! The photos honestly don’t do it justice—the rooms were much bigger and more open than we expected, which made our stay even more comfortable.The host was super kind and responsive, and everything was really easy from check-in to check-out. We left feeling relaxed and already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic getaway!"

"Great location, easy to walk to downtown business district and drive to ferry. Room is kind of old but still clean and has everything we need. Great choice with the price especially have breakfast. Will stay here next time. "
