Location and price are the main reason for our chasing this location. Rooms are perfect for two and everything you need is within a short walk.

Hotel was close to Trivoli gardens and the Glyptoteket museum but at least 30 mins or more to other tourist areas but I didn’t mind the walk. The facilities in the room of the hotel were a bit older like the shower would switch between hot and cold when in use and the wifi was not great in the rooms. However staff are friendly and was a pleasant stay.

Decent!
For a budget hotel, you get what you pay for. Room was on the smaller side but as we’re out all day exploring this never bothers us. Clean and tidy. Staff was always really friendly

it served it's purpose - a place to sleep while I was at a conference. you have to walk about .5 miles to get to the good stuff. Not bad when it was nice out. the room is small the beds comfortable. Showers very small tubes. common areas were nice, staff basically very friendly

Nice hotel
It is a very functional and eco friendly hotel. This is a little far away from the train station but if you like to walk it is ideal location.

Poor customer service
I have previously stayed in Copenhagen and thought I would try a new property. I booked wakeup because of its location and proximity to places we were visiting . On arrival I requested an extra pillow - I’m a disabled vet with a spinal injury and need to sleep on my side with some support - I even have a disabled card. I was told two pillows per room even after I showed my card and requested it for medical reasons I was denied. I expect (and have never been denied) an extra pillow. I tried to sleep even rolling clothes all up into a pillow case . In the morning I begged again for an extra pillow and said I would have to checkout - the front desk manager said - “were a 2-star hotel that’s what you get” Wow ! They had no customer service skills and didn’t care at all ! Then I went up to eat at their restaurant and asked the girl working the buffet what was gluten free - she handed me a roll and said she didn’t know . I went back and checked out - staff was indignant. I wasted my money as they wouldn’t give a refund for nights paid in advance . If you’re looking for cheap place where staff doesn’t care - wake-up is your place!! I moved to the profile Richmond where they had 3 pillows on each bed and offered more if I needed. There are so many hotels to choose from - as a former hotel manager caring a little about your clientele goes a long way!

Too far from the airport. Cosy room. Clean I slept very well. The soap in the dispenser in the shower was almost empty and only giving out a tiny bit at a time. This was a serious pain in the ass.

Very convenient walking distance to central station and museums. Incredibly small room but nicely done. Drawer under bed with 2nd pillow and duvet may have been harboring insects (not bed bugs). I got a lot of bites.

I would skip this hotel.
The hotel is in a good area close to everything you wants to see except there are no restaurants or supermarket close by. The shower is super small and very uncomfortable to try to take a shower. There are NO EXTRA included at this hotel. Had to pay for early checkin after a long transatlantic flight and had to pay for morning coffee!

The Central Station is really close to the hotel, where you can find connections to all over the city. You can also reach the airport from here in only 13 minutes. Copenhagen mall is under 10 minute walking from here and the meat packing district, where you can find a lot of good eats, as well as the city centre is a mere 15 minute walk. Our concept and design is small functional rooms at a good price. In order for us to be able to offer better prices a lot of the amenities has been cut. We do however still offer our guests a lot of the amenities, but at an extra charge as you mention. This is an extra service we provide so our guests have the option of early check in or if they need to store the luggage.Have a nice day.Alberte.Front Desk.

I did not like the fact that you were unable to even get a cup of coffee at your breakfast room. without buying the whole breakfast. I was there with my young grandson, who bought the breakfast but I was unable to join him with just a cup of coffee!!! Not very welcoming.

Disappointing
The beds are pretty terrible. They creak badly and the mattresses are hard. The pillows are too thick, but also lumpy. The hotel is close enough that you can hear the Friday night concerts at Tivoli that go on until 3pm. No tea or coffee in the rooms, you need to pay for it at reception. Only paper cups in the room. On the plus side, it's only a 10 minute walk to the Central Station and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.

An excellent ‘basic’ hotel for a few days in Copenhagen, well situated in walking distance from the central station and many notable attractions and also from the canal. Unfortunate that the immediate vicinity of the hotel is currently undergoing road renovations which makes it feel very ‘industrial’. Really helpful staff and a good lounge, too. Would recommend!

Avoid. Could be good, but it just isn’t.
Not great. Arrived at 2 but the 3pm check in is stringent - no offer to see if a room was ready so we had to sit in reception until 3 and then everyone tries to check in at the same time. Weird approach. The sink was full of shaving stubble from whoever had the room previously. One of the towels had used cotton buds tucked into it which dropped on the floor when I picked it up. The bedding was ok but only one pillow each - we asked for more but weren’t allowed any so had to use rolled up towels. I’ve seen complaints about the rooms being small - they are small but no smaller than a standard city centre hotel, so whilst it’s accurate I don’t think it should be seen as a criticism. The cleanliness issues were reported and the ladies on the desk were apologetic, but they were let down by the cleaning team.

With regards to check-in, I'm sorry you felt as though an available room wasn't looked into. We do offer early check-ins for a fee of DKK 150 - given that we have available rooms. If we don't, our guests will have to wait until the official check-in time at 15:00. We do not have room to store extra pillows within the house, so giving someone an extra pillow would mean taking it away from another room. That is why we are unable to offer ekstra bedding. I found wake-up, clean, modern, functional, convenient. Perfect for my stay. Bike hire from the desk very reasonable and effortless. Also locker service whereby for appx 2euro leave your baggage so you can explore city before or after your stay.

Beware the double bed in a single room.
In this day and age when you book a double room I don't think it is too much to ask that the double bed is not up against the exterior wall, thus requiring one's partner to clamber over you if they need the toilet in the middle of the night. Otherwise fine.
