The apartment is set central in Copenhagen, a short walk away from the most popular inner-city sights and activities, parks, lakes and the amazing gourmet heaven called "torvehallerne," where it's easy to get a bit distracted from all the fresh fish, cheese, meat and groceries. Also make sure to walk up the nearby round tower for an amazing view of the city. If you'd like to shop, Copenhagen's premium department stores of Illum & Magasin Du Nord are nearby, as are ‘strøget’ - Copenhagen's aorta and one of Europe's longest pedestrian streets with a wealth of shops, from budget-friendly chains to some of the world's most expensive brands. The area is vibrant, and with cafés, bars, and restaurants on every corner. Despite its location, it is a fairly quiet place during late hours, but nightlife options are plenty and always very close by. No private parking provided. Public parking is available across Copenhagen. In most of the city you will have to pay to park and in some areas comply with restrictions. Everything was clean, we had all we needed in an accommodation. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was setup so nicely with coffee or tea, there were plenty of towels for our 8 day stay, and clean extra bedding should we have needed it. The location was perfect for walking to all the old city sights and a place to rent a bike just a few feet away. Though I would suggest renting a bike from a bike shop. Rates are better. The neighborhood is so quiet and people are very cordial. I personally loved the Nepal restaurant across the street and the coffee shop a few blocks away called Riviera. There is a mini grocery store less than a block away that has nearly anything you might want. The fresh bread and fruit cabinets were my favorite. While we were frustrated by this, Sanders quickly arranged for us to stay in a different property that was even better than the first! So while I can't recommend this original apartment (it was in a rather dingy basement and had an odd odor), I highly recommend Sanders and their property located at Lille Kongensgade 20A, 2\. th. And no one from VRBO and their affiliates seemed very concerned about it, except my bank. I couldn’t get the credit card I planned to use replaced in time so I had to use another one that isn’t meant for travel-related charges. Other than that, everything was great.
