Rooms were recently refurbished in an interesting 1960's style. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was free wine in the evening.

Great hotel near the city center. Shower was a bit small and room service forgot to change my towels. Had to ask twice for them. However, the location and cleanliness of the hotel makes up for that. Would recommend staying here and will return

We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Alexandra. The staff was very helpful and gave suggestions of places to go in the area. The hotel was clean and had so much character. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. It was a terrific find!

Very close to the central station and easy walking to the central shopping and area and canals and food places! Room was lovely and clean and the hotel reception is very stylish and a lovely place to sit and relax

Stylish and convenient location, somewhat small
Decent hotel with great service and stylish decor. It is slightly expensive for its size, but the location is close to Tivoli Gardens and the main train station.

Hotel Alexandra has one of the best executed themes I’ve seen at any hotel. The 50s-70s Danish design lighting elements and furniture are striking and gorgeous. We stayed in the Panton suite filled with the bright and colorful 60s space age furnishings he created and it was our favorite room ever. The room was comfortable and had an incredible view of downtown Copenhagen.

A Danish classic homey style hotel located in the city centre. The building has one elevator with 5 floors of rooms. The key is asked to be left at the front desk while leaving the hotel. Central location surrounded by many food choices, shopping districts, entertainment, nightlife... The facilities are quite aged, the bathroom is quite big for the room size. The washroom sink drains very slowly yet not exactly clogged. There is only a combined body and hair soap provided, no shampoo nor conditioner

This may not be “central” but easily walkable to everything at a fraction of the cost! There’s also the metro on the doorstep as well as many restaurant options in all directions. The hotel was as expected with interesting design detail and staff were friendly and helpful. There were two downsides: 1. The bathroom needs some work. This may be a feature of an old building, but the shower was leaking and wouldn’t stay straight and the toilet was temperamental. 2. We asked for the room to be cleaned once in our stay. Unfortunately this only meant making the beds fully. Cups were not cleaned or replaced and no new stirrers provided, for example. A little odd in our experience.

Nice hotel in a safe, central part of town 10 mins walk from the central station. Furniture is retro and stylish, room cleaning is efficient and room was immaculate on our return at the end of each day. Reception staff friendly and although we didn’t sample the free glass of wine its a nice touch. Would recommend this hotel.

City Central at its best!
I really appreciate the staff of the hotel for their consistent support of during our trip. Whether it was arranging ground transport, or grabbing a glass of ice after hours. They were fabulous. The hotel is a wonderful cross between art, design, and practical function. It is a great ecological space as well!

Great hotel in Copenhagen
Such a lovely hotel with a story also, we loved the retro Danish vibe. Room was very comfortable and with all needs catered for. The reception staff were always really friendly and helpful. And as a really nice addition every evening they served a complimentary glass of wine in the wonderful 60’s 70’s lounge area with an honesty bar in the same style. Good value for money and I would definitely stay again. Just one piece of advice and that is that the breakfast in the restaurant next door is, albeit lovely, very expensive and confusing as to what you are actually paying for. But again, great hotel ☺️

Our room had 5 lights in the bathroom and only one worked so we had to take a shower in the dark, our baggage didn’t make it so I picked up the phone that also didn’t work to ask the front desk if I could have a disposable shower cap and they don’t have any ever. We turned on the AC as it was very hot and the air conditioned rattles so loud we couldn’t sleep. At this point I went to the front desk to let them know about the lights AC and phone but and the lift was not working. I walked down and they said they would have the room checked tomorrow to have the bathroom lights, phone and AC fixed as there were no rooms available and fully booked. The next day by 2 pm nothing had been done nobody went to check it out and the cleaning person left the dirty trash bag in the bathroom. So I asked to speak to the manager but not available as they doesn’t work on the weekends. I was so disappointed as this is not an inexpensive hotel and nothing could be done to fix the problems which meant another night with no sleep and a dark bathroom. After a while luckily a very nice employee by the name of Katrina knocked on the door and I showed her all thing issues and she was kind enough to transfer us to another room. Thanks to her from there on it was a pleasant stay but seemed since the first night nobody cared and the hotel has poor maintenance ( 4 out of 5 lights not working, phone and rattling AC). The location is great walkable to most important areas.

The hotel is a wonderful option. We stayed here for 5 nights. Mid-century modern furniture in every room, very friendly staff, free wi e daily, and an excellent attached breakfast restaurant with a great price for hotel guests. I would stay here again.

Located right on the middle of town so everything easily reachable. Friendly helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room, decorated in 1950s style. A place with a bit of character. Breakfast not automatically included, we didn't take it.

The design of the hotel is really beautiful and unique. The hotel itself needs better maintenance, our lightbulbs were burnt out, our phone didn’t work and our bathroom needed a deep clean. There isn’t body lotion or hair conditioner in the rooms. No room service and the attached restaurant doesn’t serve dinner. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beds were uncomfortable, we asked for extra pillows but apparently there wasn’t a single extra pillow with a case in the hotel so they gave us un-cases decorative pillows. Didn’t feel like a four star hotel or the experience one expects from a four star hotel aside from the lovely decor and staff.

The hotel is located within a really short walk both from the center and from the railroad station. Very nice and helpful personnel. The rooms are not big and with little place to store the clothing, but very clean and the 60's retro design is cute. The rooms facing the street could be a little noisy because of the traffic. We picked the hotel because of the location/price and were not disappointed.
