For everyone who loves Danish design, the SAS hotel is a must see. It was designed by the great master Arne Jacobsen. The hotel has been refurbished, but some original features have been retained. Some of design iconic pieces have been created especially for this hotel (egg and swan chairs, Stelton homeware..). I did enjoy tremendously my stay : the view was breathtaking, the rooms very clean and spacious, the bed super comfortable and the breakfast really good.
The staff were very helpful as well.
Copenhagen is a fabulous city. Everyone I know who has visited it has said so and now I can see why. So much to see and do, and all of which you can get on foot. I especially loved the Tivoli Gardens - what a visual feast this was at every turn. Even the rain didn't deter me!
"A thoroughly pleasant experience, tremendous value"
My wife and I stayed at the Adina one night prior to a cruise and returned for three nights at the end of the cruise. The Adina is located in a safe, upscale neighborhood, a 10-12 minute walk to Ostreport Station and perhaps 15 minutes to The Little Mermaid. We bought wine and incidentals at the grocery (Netto) located at the far end of the building and ate breakfast each day at the bakery another block away. One night, we got takeout pizza and salad from Tia Maria just across the street and brought it back to the room.
Our suite-type unit, booked through Expedia, averaged about $150 per night. A few light bulbs were out, but everything else was fine, albeit not luxurious. The washer and dryer came in hany. Our only frustration was the lack of English-language channels on the TV.
Not many dining options in ther neighborhood but we ate elsewhere before coming back from our touring at the end of each day.
Staff couldn't be more helpful.
Central apartment close to good shopping area, within walking distance to central station, bike hire and swimming pool and tivoli gardens. Recommend Andersen bakery next to tivoli gardens for great pastries. Apartment was comfortable, kitchen area too small to do any cooking. Overall plenty of room for a family of 4 plus baby. Disappointing that we had to clean the entire flat before leaving, hence cleanliness was not up to scratch as we don't think the apartment was cleaned by staff at all.

The location is great, but the hotel desperately needs a refurbishment.
If the hotel was in better condition, it would have been a superb experience. Sadly, we were faced with broken beds, sofas, air con, hair dryer, and this all distracted from the stay. Staff were very helpful and tried to sort as best they could. They seemed very used to fixing things!!
The hotel is in a lovely location, and the suite we had enjoyed a private roof terrace with views across the city, which was great. Its a very quick walk to shops and restaurants, and it positioned well to walking down to Tivoli, or across to Nyhavn via Norrisport.
I would recommend the hotel, but I wish I had known the condition before we went so we could set our expectations accordingly.
Very spacious and stylish apartment with everything you could need. Decor is a bit minimalist, which may not be to everyone's taste. There are great views for now, but further construction is planned (not yet started) which will create other buildings between STAY and the waterfront. Nice roof terrace.
