This spacious bach features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an additional toilet. Downstairs, you’ll find a comfortable queen bedroom with an ensuite. Upstairs, the large king bedroom opens onto a sunny deck with views across the orchard. Bedroom three has a set of bunk beds, while bedroom four includes a set of bunks plus a single bed (with a trundler available on request). The main bathroom is upstairs and includes both a bath and shower. Also on the upper level, there’s a pool table and a comfy couch — perfect for family tournaments or a relaxed evening in. Downstairs, the living areas are spacious yet cosy, with a flat-screen TV and a dining area. The fireplace in the lounge is decorative, but the working fireplace in the kitchen keeps the entire first floor warm and toasty. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favourite meals, and with a dishwasher, there’ll be no arguments over who’s doing the dishes! There’s also a second dining table in the kitchen — ideal for breakfast or games night. The laundry includes a washing machine and an extra fridge, perfect for storing all your holiday treats. Step through the lounge doors onto the deck, where you’ll find a BBQ and outdoor furniture — a great spot for evening dinners or after-dinner drinks while enjoying the peaceful orchard views. You’ll feel a million miles away! There’s ample parking for cars and a boat, and while the property isn’t fenced, there’s a large grassy area perfect for lawn games. There is a pond on the property so please keep an eye on small children as it is unfenced. From the house, you can even walk through the orchard to reach the shops and beach. Cooks Beach is a popular holiday spot not too far from Whitianga, with a stunning white sandy beach and sparkling blue water. It's perfect for a morning stroll and swimming. The beach is not patrolled by Surf Lifesavers, so always watch the conditions. With Shakespeare Cliff to the west and the sheltered Purangi Estuary to the east. Take a walk up Shakespeare Cliff; the views are some of the most beautiful you will see. You can also walk down to the beautiful Lonely Bay with its large limestone boulders and white sands, it's a photographer's dream. Cooks Beach itself is perfect for a morning stroll and swimming. You can launch the boat from the Estuary end of the beach, just watch the tides. Cooks Beach has a convenience store and some great eateries. And of course, on the way to Cooks Beach, there are 2 wineries to check out! Not too far away is Ferry Landing, which has Australasia's oldest stone wall wharf built in 1837; from there, you can catch the passenger ferry to Whitianga. You are also a short drive away from Hahei, where, when conditions allow, you can walk the track to the world-renowned Cathedral Cove. The walk takes about 40-45 minutes. If you're not up to the walk, you can catch the Water Taxi from Hahei Beach. Also not too far away is Hot Water Beach, where at low tide you can dig a hole and sit in your own little hot pool. Spades can be hired from the local shop.
