(The pet fee - $100 per pet, only covers additional cleaning to make sure to get all pet fur by double washing all linens (please avoid letting dogs on the beds), wear and tear on flooring/carpets and furniture). It was one of the main reasons we chose this property over others, but it was filthy when we arrived and completely unusable until the 4th night of our 5-night stay. We reported it right away, but it wasn’t addressed until later in the trip, which was a huge letdown.In addition, the trash stored in the garage was already overflowing when we arrived, and the house was full of large garbage flies. We spent much of the trip swatting them away from our faces & food & killed around 30 over the course of our stay. This too was reported on day one, but not resolved until much later. Other maintenance & cleanliness issues included:– A screen door to the porch hanging off its hinges.
