Altocerro provided an excellent experience: it’s within an easy distance from the town of Constanza and the view of the valley from the hotel is simply spectacular. Recommend the restaurant highly. The cabins are safe, comfortable and functional: the only possible improvement suggested is to have better beds: the bed was hard and after long hikes, this is important to the visitor. Otherwise 5 stars.highly recommended! 👍

Starting with lack of communication, I made the reservation and made a note that we will be celebrating our anniversary I also called the property previous our arrival to verify that they had the information and when we got there they said oh we did have any note about your celebration, the room was pretty basic, no refrigerator nor coffee maker not even a closet, and the worse bed ever, they charge you like a 4 star hotel and they are not even 1, terrible the breakfast you have two options mashed potatoes and Mangu NOTHING else (eggs, cheese and salami, you can only have two) the last day we were desperate to leave we were ready before 7 am but had to wait till 8am because nobody was there to us returned the key also when we were waiting we ask the lady who was setting the breakfast which is also at 8am if tea or hot chocolate was ready and she said yes but 15 minutes later she brought out the kitchen everything but what we asked for, at the end we left and I told her forget it we are leaving and she didn’t even care. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! WE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS PLACE AND DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO NOBODY!!

Un lugar ecologico donde se preocupan por el medioambiente. Ideal par ir con niños por lis actividades que ofrecen. El restaurante esta muy acogedor y el staff muy amable y servicial. Lo que puede tener mejoria es el desayuno. Aqui extrañaba quesos, embutidos o cereales etc.

Majestic place, wonderful staff.
The view is gorgeous! The staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food was delicious and even my picky children enjoyed it. Will definitely revisit again someday. Thank you for the amazing experience.

The hotel is very simple. Literally just the bed, bathroom and a TV. Don’t expect much more. Very cozy and romantic

I think this is the best property in constanza.Its spacious ,has an grand panoramic excellent view of constanza.Food is excellent ,we had chivo meat and it was well cooked .The bathrooms are clean and well maintained.Excellent for family and couples and the gentry is good .

i liked the excelent view of constanza valley. our room was located in front of the spa with an amazing and beautiful view. I really love this hotel because was simple but it was amazing to be there

Muy buen lugar para descansar y alejarse del día a día. Hermosa vista, muy buena ubicación, muy buen desayuno. Solo deben de hacer algunas remodelaciones en las habitaciones e incluir por lo menos abanico y un pequeño refrigerador. También deben de mejorar el BBQ! Honestamente, uno de los mejores hoteles que he ido en todo territorio dominicano!

I liked the spacious compound, nature, scenic view and quiet atmosphere during the week, but the reception staff needs to improve when it comes to hospitality. No good bye heard during the check-out, which was shocking and unpleasant.

The rooms are not properly configured in Expedia. I reserved a 1 bedroom villa with fireplace and they gave me one without a fireplace. It seems that they don't take into account which one you choose on Expedia. Even so they are two different options: with fireplace and without fireplace.

Beautiful setting and a (literally) refreshing get-away from the heat and chaos of Santo Domingo. One of the best places to camp in the Dominican Republic. The breakfast buffet is varied and excellent.

Not so nice hotel in excellent location
The hotel view and location is great. The room was not so great. The room was dirty with a terrible smell, it seems that they mopped the floor without any cleaner. We burned some wood in the fire place, which helped with the smell for a couple of hours. The pillows were dirty with some white stains and the shower had mildew in the floor. There was no remote control for the TV. The breakfast was also terrible, however , we visited the restaurant at night and the food was delicious. The staff was corteous. This place could be better if management pays more attention to cleanliness of the rooms.

Great place for a family stay
Spacious two level villa, with two bedrooms, to baths and a kitchenette. Great view over the valley from the terrace. Friendly staff, even when we challenged them with our very limited Spanish. Dinner in the restaurant was good, not extraordinary and breakfast was run of the mill. The best part, though, had to be the mountain climate. Truly did require sweaters in the evening, after we had sweltered elsewhere in the DR.

Beautiful retreat from the warm tropics of DR
The hotel was a lovely escape in the higher elevations of DR. We wish we had more than one night to spend there. The rooms are spacious and two-levels.
