Staff were great and close to Pier 39 and Fishermans wharf. Unfortunately the hotel charged an extra $29 per night for my daughter even though we fully paid in advance through Expedia. Expedia confirmed we paid for all family members and sent an e-mail confirming this but this was still disputed by the hotels centralized billing department. We checked out at the end of our trip having paid extra, no resolution and little hope of being refunded the extra charges. Shout out to the hotel front desk and manager for doing their best for us.

My only complaint is that we had reserved 2 rooms and they were at the end of the hall. These room by the street was so loud, you could hear, people, cars. And the hotel reserved a family with numerous children so most the time at very late hours and very early hours you could the chdren screaming and laughing up and down the hall. Also the beds felt very lumpy.

Excellent property with close proximity to the pier. They hotel even has a driver that you can coordinate for airport pickup/drop off. If you’re looking for high end or updated finishes this isn’t the place for you, but it is well maintained and clean.

We had a nice stay at this property for 2 nights. Location to Pier 39 was perfect. The breakfast was fabulous - definitely worth the short wait in line. The staff has the breakfast flow down perfectly - no complaints at all. We did wish the TV situation was better. It was fuzzy and we didn’t get many channels. For the hotel price, we would have expected Smart TVs and/or movie channels. The cost of parking is ridiculous, but the convenience of the parking was nice. If you don’t want to pay, there are many other options nearby. Overall, we were happy with this choice.

The check in staff, only one in particular, was being deliberately slow and unnecessarily obtuse. Spending an inordinate amount of time changing clerks, wiping every pen etc and only once she finished her elaborate cleaning regime... did she start the logging in process for her computer. Why she didn't do that and then clean? We will never know. After a 12 hour flight i didn't care...i just wanted in. The room was noisy due to being above the outdoor seating. People drinking it there past midnight. No control by staff to keep that noise down. They should proactively discourage outdoor patronage after 10pm. The food in the buffet had the what eggs i have had in my entire life... and I'm old! They were dry and stuck to the rid of your mouth. What the cook did to those eggs was a crime.

Their breakfast was extensive and well managed and there were many places that you could walk to for dining as well as a well stocked grab and go area and a nice bar. It’s also very close to Pier 39 which is great. The bathroom was a tight spot on the double Queen rooms but the only thing that I would change/update

Love the location, it is accessible to everything that we wanted to go and see, its all within walking distance. Plenty of dining options. The hotel's breakfast buffet is also good.

Older hotel, even though remodeled, bathrooms are kinda crammed. But other than that, clean throughout the rooms & hotel. Staff is great, location is perfect & breakfast is awesome!

Accommodated a family of four easily. Riu was conveniently located 6-7 mins walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, 10mins from Pier 30. Overal, easily accessible to tourists attractions.

Nice clean quiet hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice walk to the piers. Happy to see Ecolab pest equipment on the exterior. Toilet bathtub area was very tight to enter and close the door. Breakfast was great except it was the same thing everyday. Change up would have been nice or a waffle maker.

Entire property was a disappointment. Parking was confusing to get to. Hotel entry had many many young adults yelling, laughing & wrestling. Check in took 20minutes & staff were efficient but unfriendly/unwelcoming . Room was clean with minimal amenities($106. per night) Bellhops were very friendly/informative. There were many street engaged people hovering around the hotel which made us feel unsafe to even go outside. We had requested an ocean view & got the back of hotel facing a bus station. From 5a-midnight there were buses beeping while backing up to get out.The window glass was so thin that we could here people talking on the sidewalk and we were on the 4th floor. Several times in the night there was laughing and yelling in the hallway. Someone ran down the hall banging on all the doors laughing. We checked out a day early. When I explained to the manager why, she apologized but didn't seem to care at all. She said I wouldnt get a refund, which was fine. Sent me away with "ok, all done, you can go". Went down to get my car ($67per night) and found that I couldn't leave without validation. Back upstairs. Manager gave me a card to scan, without any care. Asked if I would be getting a refund for the unused parking/resort fees? She said she didn't know how to issue a refund and had to go in the back. We waited 25 minutes. She returned and said refund was complete. I asked for a receipt. It took 4days to show on my card. We stayed at 5 other hotelsandeveryonereturnedfundsimmediately withinhoursofcheckouteckingeoutndant ws parking

Hotel was nice and clean. Room TV did not work There was no easy option to fill your water bottles, accept for the gym. Wifi connection was weak.

Enjoyed the convience of the area being walkable to Fisherman’s warf. Enjoyed the breakfast although it’s the same thing each day there is quite a variety. The only thing was the soon we were in you could hear the outside goings on. However, we were so tired from our days activities that we fell sleep anyway/. Overall, I would recommend.

Spacious room, very comfortable beds. Walking distance to public transportation, easy commute to SF main attractions. Breakfast is included but IHop is down the block in case you oversleep. Courteous and friendly service.

The pillows were awful! Did not get a goodnight sleep at all during our three day stay. When I called asking for foam pillows I was told “whatever is in your room, is what you got” WHat?!

The breakfast area staff is incredibly rude. Ruined my experience. Couldn't even walk out of the room with my cup of coffee to take a call, then I was looking for my son because he was confused where we were seated given the buffet and was held out for having a plate of food standing in the hallway and then also for supposedly taking a 4 seater table when they thought we only had two people but one person left to use the washroom. I checked out one day early.

The hotel is located very near to Fisherman's Wharf. We found everything we needed within short walking distance. Highly recommend! Your breakfast buffet was wonderful! Hats off to the staff!
