The hotel has a great location for touring the city and the other villages along the lake. Our check in process was seamless and our room was a nice size with a lovely view of the lake. Breakfast in the morning was plentiful - something for everyone, not a continental breakfast at all. We used the complimentary bikes for a stroll around the villages and enjoyed the restaurants recommended by the reception personnel.
The hotel was quite expensive for our 2 night stay, so we booked the cheapest room we could find. We were surprised and delighted on our arrival to be upgraded to a Junior Suite with a lake view and more than enough space
Everything very clean & comfortable.
The hotel itself is well maintained and the staff were very helpful.
Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.
The hotel is right on the waterfront, next to the boat station.
They gave my mother a surprise cake and sparkling wine and helped us find every where we wanted to go
Breakfast was fantastic
A good cross section of guests including interseting people at conference event
Very happy about my stay at Como Hotel. I was not sure looking at it on the internet and I cannot say any negative comment about the hotel, room and especially the staff. I even got a little breakfast bag on my way out because I was going to take an early train. Will definitely go back again!
Stayed only one night en route to Milan, but ideal location and was just what I needed. 10-15min walk from the Cathedral, 10mins with cases from the station and 5mins from the lake.
Room was very clean and had all the expected facilities. Breakfast was just the right amount for me And the staff were all very friendly. I'd certainly stop overnight here again

The hotel Engadina enjoys an ideal location close to the lake in the centre of Como, next to the stadium and only 5 minutes …More
Perfectly serviceable hotel with adequate facilities. It's not in the most glamorous part of Como by any means, but it's location just off a main road means that there is parking and it's within very easy walking distance of the centre. You can park outside the door if you don't mind getting up in the morning and moving it, as that's public, or you can pay to go in the garage, which is what we did, so we could sleep in. The restaurant was a little characterless - and empty, we were the only ones eating there, but we couldn't find fault with the food, considering this. The aircon in our room wasn't brilliantly effective and we were a little stuffy in the heat, (considering the noise it made!)
However, the staff were friendly, and if you were wanting to visit Como and have a convenient place to stay, then this is a fine hotel.

Modern hotel, clean modern room but traffic noise from main road in front.
Buffet breakfast included, got congested at times.
No restaurant, but excellent large steakhouse/Italian food restaurant 10 mins walk towards city.
This lakeshore town near the Swiss border has elegant parks and medieval buildings. It also has a busy industrial quarter based on silk manufacture, and is a fine place for shopping. A museum traces the history of Como’s textiles, which still supply the great fashion houses of Europe. Main sights are a handsome Gothic - Renaissance cathedral, and the Romanesque church of Sant’Abbondio, decorated with 14th-century frescoes.
