Inside a recently renovated period building where attention to detail and the ancient look meet modern comfort, we find four different units. Located in the central Via Volta inside an exclusive and classy reality where, with a short walk through the streets of the center, you can reach the most famous attractions such as the Duomo and Piazza Cavour with its fantastic lake view. PLEASE CONSIDER: the heating system is available from October 15th until April 15th - the air conditioning is available from April 16th to October 14th. To reach the city of Como the closest airport is Milan Malpensa. To reach the Volta City Suites structure by train the closest train station is Como San Giovanni. To reach the structure by car you can take the A9 Como Centro motorway exit. Como is certainly among the most beautiful cities in Lombardy, on the shores of the lake of the same name, it has enchanted visitors from all eras and houses both historical treasures, such as the famous villas, and incredible views. The center of Como is a true gem, full of attractions and places of interest that are worth a visit. The city is very pedestrian-friendly, among the various attractions, it is worth mentioning in the immediate vicinity. Como Cathedral, also known as the Duomo, is one of the main landmarks of the city. Dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta, this magnificent building combines elements of Gothic and Renaissance style. Not far from the Duomo, there is Piazza Cavour, the beating heart of Como. This lively square, surrounded by cafes and restaurants, is the ideal place to take a break and enjoy the atmosphere of the city. From here, you can access the lakefront, another unmissable place in Como. Private parking spaces in the building are available upon request at a cost of €20 per night. On the ground floor, there is a double bedroom with a wardrobe and a window overlooking the internal patio. In the corridor, there is a bathroom with a large shower, sink, bidet, and toilet. On the upper floor, there is a bedroom with two single beds,a wardrobe, and a bathroom with a shower, basin, bidet, and toilet. The laundry room with washing machines and dryers shared with other guests is located on the ground floor of the building. Private parking spaces are available upon request. The apartment is equipped with an air conditioning system managed by a remote system that automatically regulates temperatures in order to avoid wasting energy. There is also a controlled mechanical ventilation system that maintains an ideal climate by also regulating humidity, to the point that it is recommended to always keep the windows closed. Beds were comfortable, and water pressure was great! Very close to the city center, it took us less than 10 minutes to get to all our stops (harbor, funicular, restaurants etc). We had coffee most morning just around the corner from the apartment. The apartment itself is modern, looks recently renovated, was spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. It has good air conditioning, lift, parking, water pressure, comfortable beds, and security. The staff provided excellent service, and nothing was too much trouble for them.
