This comfortable apartment welcomes its guests in a bright living room with a comfortable sofa where they can read a book or watch a movie with friends on the flat-screen TV; in the adjacent room is the practical and functional kitchen, complete with all necessary appliances, and the round dining table for 4 people. Both the living room and the kitchen have access to the spacious balcony. The two bedrooms offer a relaxing rest after a day spent exploring the city: a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, perfect for both families and couples or groups of friends. The bathroom with a large shower is modern and decorated with floral patterns. Quality bedding, towels and a courtesy kit are provided. We also leave a gift basket with some necessary items for your first breakfast. Free Wi-Fi available. Any commercial business is forbidden inside the apartment. Guests have the access of the whole apartment. The flat has an covered private car park. Access: Please be reminded that you will enter the apartment by doing a SELF CHECK-IN. In case of need, our customer service is ready to assist you from 8am to 10pm by phone, email or Whats-app. Nearby: Staying in the Lario Suite apartments you are minutes away from Villa Olmo and its park, and walking along the picturesque promenade you will reach the hangar (where seaplanes depart), ill Tempio Voltiano and the War Memorial. Walk along the breakwater, reaching the modern artwork “The Life Electric” by the famous Libeskind! Continue along the lakefront to reach Viale Geno, its park and villa. At the beginning of Viale Geno is the Funicular railway station to reach Brunate and its lighthouse, where you can stop for lunch at one of the many restaurants, or continue with a scenic trek to the Lario mountains, with a break at one of the mountain huts you'll encounter along the way. A 30-minute walk or a few minutes by bus (bus stop below the apartment) will put you in the center of Como and you can stroll through its cobblestone streets, stores, bars and restaurants, churches and pretty squares. You'll admire the famous Piazza Duomo, with its marvelous cathedral and its Broletto, both worth visiting; Piazza San Fedele, a pretty little square with the Romanesque-style basilica of the same name; Via Vittorio Emanuele, among the most renowned streets for shopping; Piazza Volta, very lively for aperitifs and after-dinner al fresco dining all year round; and Porta Torre, one of the historic entrances to the walled city. Also in a few minutes you arrive in Piazza Cavour, the largest square in Como, in front of which you can take the Navigazione Lago di Como boat and reach the most famous places on the lake (Cernobbio, Blevio, Torno, Laglio, Argegno, Menaggio, Bellagio, Varenna). How to get there: By car: From the A9 motorway take the ‘Como - Monte Olimpino’ exit at the first roundabout take the first exit and continue on ‘Via Bellinzona’. At the second roundabout take the second exit. In 4 minutes you will be in front of the flat, which is on the left hand side. By public transport: When you arrive at the ‘Como San Giovanni Station’ go to the stop ‘Como - S. Ronchetto’ and take the bus N.1 direction ‘Como-Recchi’ for 7 stops and get off at the stop ‘Como- Roncate (Villa Aprica)’. there you will find yourself in front of the flat. Or you can walk to the ‘Como Lago Station’, walk to the stop ‘Stazione Lago’ and take the bus N.7 direction ‘Como- lungolario trento’, get off after 10 stops at the stop ‘Como - Ceresio (Bixio)’. The pictures do make it appear that it is closer to the lake than it actually is. In reality, it’s about a 1/2 mile away, so not horrible. The check in instructions were quite detailed and informative…once we received them. In our case, it was an hour AFTER our check in time! As per the property management’s last communication with us, we were supposed to receive a link for an online check in on June 4\. They ended up sending it to us on June 10th. Unfortunately we were traveling from the US to Italy that day and did not see that it was in our junk mail. Upon arriving in Italy on the day of our check-in, we tried several different times to call, email, and WhatsApp the property management team to get info to access the property to no avail. No one would ever answer their direct line. We also spent several hours on the phone with VRBO as well. VRBO also tried contacting the property management, also without any luck. It got to the point where VRBO was in the process of trying to set us up at a different property, when the Property Management team finally contacted us instructing us to fill out their online check-in process. After we did that, it took an additional 45 minutes to receive the actual check-in information. It was definitely a stressful way to start a trip and one that could’ve easily been avoided by better and more timely communication by the property management team. ##### Farah C.
