« We were a Red Hat Ladies group of 5 women of a “certain age” who came to Schulenberg to see the Painted Churches. The house was the perfect place for us to stay since it is located just a short distance from the Chamber of Commerce where the tour started! Also, the house is located right across from the police department:). All five of us enjoyed the “Victorian” decor and home. « Everything was as described in the listing so there were no surprises. The house was beautiful and spacious without being too formal and stuffy. There were 15 of us that stayed in the place and everyone enjoyed their stay. Towels and toiletries were provided for all. There was no dishwasher detergent and the coffee in the canister was not enough for a serving, but we brought our own kitchen supplies so that was not an issue at all. Overall, very nice place to stay, and I would recommend it to...

« The house is very cute, but needs a little attention. The outlet in the guest bathroom doesn’t work. The kitchen needs updated pots and pans and utensils and wine glasses! More serving dishes would be good too. The tv remotes don’t work well either had to keep resetting them to use them. And the back bedroom door doesn’t shut properly. Just a little fine tuning to this house would make it prefect. »
