Terrific Staff & Service

I arrived in the morning on my way to a conference, but the staff cheerfully jumped through hoops to get a room ready for me. I was particularly impressed with the friendly nature of everyone there, especially the cleaning staff. The hotel is probably rated a "3 star" by AAA, but is undergoing smart & sassy renovations with lots of comfortable, bright and comfortable furniture in the lobby and dining areas. I had no difficulty in getting a ride to the airport (you need to let the front desk know when you need to leave). Even the shuttle driver had a sunny personality. The rate I paid was typical for an average hotel, but details like a fresh, clean suite with lots of space and a very comfortable bed helped make my stay one of the best I've had in a while.

Pros: the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was wonderful.
Cons: the rooms need updating and a thorough cleaning. like maybe the carpets being cleaned kind of cleaning.
Location: the Anthony Thomas chocolate factory was fun
the room was a bit musty smelling, and the pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable. it needs a little updating I would say. on the other hand the staff was remarkable. there was a very noisy ball team there which is not the hotels fault, but the doors were not buffering any of the noise due to a large gap at the bottom of the door allowing light and noise in. I will e returning to this city again next year, but would probably choose a different property.

Nice once room cancellation was reversed

Pros: Free breakfast and wifi
Cons: Reservation system and pool cleanliness.
Location: Attended family member graduation. Not too much time for sight seeing.
Started poorly. Two days prior to arrival was informed by a family member that my reservation was cancelled. Springhill could not help since I booked room via Expedia. Spent two hours on the phone with Expedia getting a replacement room. Later discovered Hotel made error not Expedia. Thank goodness Expedia could book another room even though SpringHill said that they were completely full. Pool was on small side and needed cleaning. Looked like dust balls floating but not enough to discourage swimming with the kids. Hotel did not have any extra pillows for the kids using the pull out bed. On the plus side the room was generally clean, in good shape and the free wifi worked without any issues. The best part was the free breakfast and dining area. Food was excellent and the dining room was large enough to hold our large party.

Checked in. First room AC didn't work. 2nd room key didn't work. 3rd room was fine. Hotel not walking distance to food "after hours" but only a mile from a big strip mall with supermarket and food if you have a car. Place was clean...nice...and good service. Not the "top of the line" SPringhill Suites decor but still nice and big room. Breakfast was above average quality but usual mix (eggs, bacon, oatmeal, fruit etc) All the basics

I was her for business and chose the hotel because it was close. Everything was fine and I would recommend this hotel if you need to be clove to the airport. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

Great stay! I travel a lot around the world and this is far by better than any European hotel I've been to. Very nice touch with the welcome bag full of goodies!! Gahanna is a beautiful city filled with awesome people!!

Very clean and bright room

Bright clean and well maintained room with lots of in-room facilities. Reasonable breakfast included. Very convenient for the airport
