Very disappointing stay- I typically dont do reviews but this one bothered me. The room was nice but A/C was cutting off making it hot and leaking making the floor wet with mildew smell. You could tell it had been going on for a while. We checked in later than normal (10pm) and front desk lady was trying to help but said our choices were to stay in room or leave. Their was no where else around that late and my kids were tired. GM was contacted and offered a partial refund when he comes in the next morning. We accepted this and he was a no show the next day and charged full price to stay in a hot, wet, mildew room. I asked why and was informed he has to do a refund when he comes in.. We left and no contact since. called back and they are avoiding my calls. Just poor management.. Additionally, would not recommend to stay here as the pool is tiny, linens are old and rough, and the "hot" breakfast consists of microwavable wrapped junk food - nothing else, what a joke..
Only came here for a couple of nights and I must say it was a pleasant stay. Checked in a little after 9 pm, the woman at the front desk was friendly & quick with the process. Our room was clean, standard size for 2, plenty of towels, pillows were comfortable, bed was eh but for the most part it was pretty quiet stay. I would stay here again if ever in Columbus again.
Very clean hotel overall, and we would definitely book again when we are in the area. One suggestion though, they use the EarthTempo shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom which is a great idea! I could see that they were trying to eliminate the use of those tiny shampoo, conditioner bottles which are bad for the environment.
However, if one pull the EarthTempo shampoo and conditioner bottles off the base, these is a LOT of mold growth hiding in there. I suggest that the cleaning staff to use a small tooth brush to clean the inside of the plastic bases, and to use a rag to dry and wipe the inside to keep water from getting stuck in there.
All is all, a very fine hotel for the money and highly recommended!
