Polk Home & Museum. Once upon a time, there were 3 girls who met when they were 11 years old. They all lived on the same street in Columbia, TN. They all grew up and moved away, but they have remained friends (and held a fondness for Columbia) for 60 years! This weekend, they returned to Columbia to celebrate Easter with other friends and relatives. Lucky for these 3 girls they rented the Maple Roost - a most charming home, in a perfect location, and it was equipped with every convenience anyone could want. And luckier still, the property owner was the sweetest and most accommodating host ever!!!We are looking forward to our next stay at the Maple Roost . . . and we highly recommend it for anyone in the area! There was space enough for everyone, and it suited all ages. The location was quiet and felt very safe. From the house, we enjoyed walking down toward the courthouse and visiting the Polk House. There was plenty of space for the three of us. The home was beautifully decorated. Communication was clear and simple and so many of the tiny details were provided to ensure we had a lovely stay.
