Profiles that are brand new with no prior reviews are required to pay a $500 damage deposit prior to a booking being confirmed and check in instructions being shared. The damage deposit is fully refundable at the end of a reservation assuming there is no damage to the property. This property has a strict no partying policy. Any guest who hosts a party will be fined $300 per party. Please note that profiles with lower review rating than 4 starts will not be allowed to book our property on an instant book basis and if for whatever reason the reservation confirms through the system, the reservation may be cancelled. I am a fan of old homes, so the fact that this one is over 100 years old was great for me! I loved the beautiful floors, and the claw for bathtub upstairs was a new experience for my family. The yard is beautifully maintained and inviting. If not for the rain, we would have spent more time out there. It is about 10 minutes to the gate to Fort Jackson, which was perfect for us since we were there for a basic training graduation. I would definitely stay in this house again if I were to go back to Columbia. ##### John B.
