Spent hours into the night sitting on the porch making memories. I had my elderly parents with and they also fell in love with the property and my mother has not vacationed for 30+ years. The house was very clean and well furnished with attention to details. Loved the front and back porches. Kids loved the bunks and having their own space. We brought firewood and had fires by the the property lake each night while the kids caught bass. Fishing was very good. During the day we lounged on the furnished patio while taking in the Tennessee hills side scenery while playing games. Columbia has a lot to offer regarding hiking to waterfalls, gift shops, restaurants and breweries. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We stayed at the cottage for to host our small intimate rehearsal dinner with family and friends. Then stayed the night with all of my bridesmaids! This was the perfect location to stay at near my wedding venue. Everyone who came was blown away by how beautiful the property was. Our only complaint is that the driveway needs four-wheel-drive to get up. We had a lot of people with smaller cars who had problems getting up the very steep gravel driveway. Our college kids slept great in the double bunks. The loft area with comfy couch was great to watch a football game. But the highlight of the house is most definitely the outdoor areas.
