This space is very private with a secluded patio that overlooks a red rock formation and is likely to provide some great wildlife viewing. Enjoy watching the horseback riders venture by all day, departing from the stables 2 blocks away! Less than 5 minutes to Manitou Springs or Old Colorado City. Since then the private apartment attached to the back of the home has built and beautifully remodeled for your comfort. We have tried to anticipate the needs of our guest to make this the most enjoyable visit you have ever had to the Springs! In the summer, please prepare for possible afternoon showers. In the winter, please prepare for possible snow fall, but don't worry it usually melts quickly! Check in and out was flawless. We were so close to food, grocery stores, and hiking, everything you need for a trip to Colorado Springs. The hiking trail at the end of the neighborhood was great, saw wildlife early in the morning. It was minutes to the Trading Post and drives through the park. Garden of the Gods trailhead right up the street. Restaurants and entertainment right down the street. We highly recommend Adam's Mountain Cafe for breakfast (didn't have any other meals there). LOVELY back yard view of the hillside. We enjoyed our morning coffee/tea in the backyard - saw a buck a couple of mornings, while listening to the birdsong. Just a perfect, tranquil get-away.
