This cottage has since been tastefully renovated with a full bathroom, jetted tub, wood fireplace and living area with a fridge and microwave. When you step out the door 2 acres of streams, trees and grass welcome you. There is a large patio where you can relax and spend time with your favorite person in the hot tub or by the fire Staying here feels like stepping into Colorado's past where history comes to life with every charming detail. One of the best things about this property is its proximity to exploration and attractions. It's an excellent adventure basecamp from which you can head deeper into the mountains and visit Woodland Park or down into Colorado Springs within 10 minutes. The living area has space to cuddle up and read a good book, eat dinner, play games or watch a movie. The yard on the property has plenty of space for activities and the patio by the creek is a fun common area where you can sit by the fire and listen to the water bubbling under the trees.
