This cottage has since been tastefully renovated with a full bathroom, jetted tub, wood fireplace and living area with a fridge and microwave. There is a large patio where you can relax and spend time with your favorite person in the hot tub or by the fire Staying here feels like stepping into Colorado's past where history comes to life with every charming detail. One of the best things about this property is its proximity to exploration and attractions. It's an excellent adventure basecamp from which you can head deeper into the mountains and visit Woodland Park or down into Colorado Springs within 10 minutes. We loved being surrounded by the trees and quiet. It was the perfect secluded escape while still being close to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. We loved the movies, games and popcorn.
