Cool, old, beautiful place with more than plenty of room to spread out. Very clean with comfy beds. Easy parking in the back. Perfect location for exploring Manitou Springs on foot. Lots of stairs (inside and outside) - I stayed on the 3rd floor and got some serious exercise. Warning to the tall people - watch your head on the stairs, through doorways, and around the front parlor chandelier - people were a bit shorter in the late 1800s when they built the place. When we arrived, there was a bit of chaos regarding a burst water line in one of the bathrooms - maintenance arrived within a couple of hours and resolved the issue quickly - good communication with the host. The individual families were happy to have their own private sleeping and bathroom areas. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The home is perfectly located and Manitou Springs is a great town with loads of things to do in town and in the surrounding area.The home could have been cleaner. The dishes needed to be washed prior to using; the front porch was not swept/dirty.We also tried to arrange an earlier entry time but management was not very receptive to our request.But overall, our stay was very enjoyable and pleasant and I would recommend this home. ##### Chris B. We stayed at the Mansion & Carriage House in Manitou Springs to celebrate a graduation with friends and family. The venue and location were great! Manitou Springs is such a quaint mountain town that provided our guests some fun activities to do when we had down time. We stayed for our non-profits annual retreat and the large formal dining room allowed us to have a productive meeting. In the evening, we had fun playing games in the front family room and just hanging out on the large front porch. It was also very nice to just be able to walk into downtown Manitou right from the front door. Definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back. ##### Kevin B. The main house was beautiful and very clean. It had an amazing view overlooking Manitou Avenue. The house is very well taken care of and it was perfect for our group of 13 people and 4 kids. Situated on the main road in downtown Manitou Springs, the location and historic home was perfect for the 14 of us to celebrate Thanksgiving. The rooms were furnished with lovely period furniture that was functional and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable. The house was also exceptionally clean, especially for such an old home. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, including provided coffee! We'd love to stay here again next year! ##### Mandy W.
